That book felt more like some fantasy novel Claremont had lying around that he changed the names on to fit it into the Willow universe. 

Remember when he discovered the world was round because he was flying so high on a dragon or something that they could see the curvature of the planet?

Well, on the upside, if they do make a series, at I’ll never find myself wishing for the show to be even half as good as the books.

This is one of temhe very few books that I've ever straight up given up on mid-read. It was horrid and I didn't understand anything that was going on and I was really bummed because I loved Willow. 

I read the first book in that sci-fi series Claremont started publishing in the ‘80s. Dude should not be writing prose.

I don’t think I even read all of that book. But wtf was Willow’s son infected with that made him go all psycho-crazy and try to murder his Dad?
