I’m an American but have been an expat for the last 13 years. I can tell you that you can argue with cops in most countries without getting beat up or shot. I’ve seen scenes like the above in Panama and Costa Rica and everyone went home in one piece.

Illegal immigrants are criminals by definition, the people crossing over our border illegally are not the best and brightest our brothers south of the border have to offer... those people have visas. Latin American countries understand immigration laws need to be fair and they need to be enforced, the only folks too…
