Comments like these help me understand why we should be opposed to bans like this....but it is so hard sometimes to be pro burqa. Just really doesn’t jive with my worldview even though I know that covering your whole body up for your religion is technically a right....

I did a survey of breastfeeding mothers for my business , backseat breastfeeder, and 40% admitted to taking a screaming baby out of the car seat altogether to breastfeed.... hence the invention is justified. May not be the reason here, but screaming babies are hard to deny food to sometimes and traffic etc can make

Always in The market for lofi programming that will keep the baby quiet for 15 minutes while I take care of some shit without turning her into a junkie....

Except for people who wear headphones at work. It’s awkward, but I have to touch them!

They also need a $34 fee so they can afford to tow away illegally parked cars..... What about just putting penalties on the guilty??

Look someday, for fun take a gander at the things that the dhhs funds. It is all sorts of crazy shit. They’d rather give $1mm to someone studying effective treatments of type x live cancer stage 3, than anything that affects everyone like being born

I guess you also never walk out of your house without your keys, you never leave your wallet at the supermarket, etc. try living in the clouds like some of us and then you'll see. We don't choose to live up here...

I'm with Kara! No one said it isn't hard, but it'd also be hard to balance a egg on a spoon in your mouth while hopping on one foot down the track, but we don't do that in the olympics. It just feels random to most of us non horse people....

All so true! Except that there is no perfect diaper bag. It is a quart size ziplock with two diapers, a plastic fruit bag for trash, and a snack sized ziploc full of wipes. No changing pad because if it's to protect you baby her hands extend beyond it, so useless. If it's to protect others wipe down the changing table

Former nasa rocket scientist here: yep. All rockets and many other parts of satellites look like penises. Next question: how many awkward silences ensue when your the first woman in the propulsion branch and it’s obvious that before you got there the parts were referred to as penis parts....

😟 it was soooo hard to debate my sister when she was 11. I feel like Cory is the same. It’s not really debate but more like yelling and deviating and constantly bringing up who started it. Not that my sister or Cory are making any meaningful or legitimate points but.....Gah!!! I feel like I back in that moment.

You see Asians? I'm struggling to find even any brunettes....

But doesn’t the grammar and the “only email” rule make you think that perhaps it is a business being run abroad? And not that that would be bad in and of itself, per se, but that could explain why they have such trouble arranging local logistics?

Yes, the votes. We want the votes. That's how elections are won. If trump endorsed Clinton and that got her votes, yeah it'd be creepy, but votes are votes.

If someone asked you for money to help sick puppies and you gave it to them and they used it to buy a boat, they stole from you. Fraud, scam, whatever, the police could prosecute that shit....

There are laws on the books that say people cannot enter into contracts to work that they cannot leave (e.g. There is no indentured servitude) Heck, there is a minimum wage. It isn’t unheard of that a society would decide that you cannot enter into a certain type of work contract even if you want to because we deem it

I can’t help but mention that internship job descriptions have strict requirements that have been totally ignored for decades. I imagine people will just ignore this, such as, you have 40 hours to complete X amount of work and if you can’t do that your fired. That's the thing about creative or not easily quantifiable

But is it $38000 round trip or one way? It's important! It doubles the amount I expect

When Iwas prego I got all bothered by the signs everywhere in Washington state warning me not to drink. I felt it was patronizing and unfair. Where’s the sign saying don’t drink and drive? Or don’t drink and abuse your wife or kids? Or don’t drink and gamble away your spouses earnings or money for your kids’ food? And
