There’s not much point in this debate/discussion. I wasn’t in anyway trying to “save face” by stating their 2016/2017 salaries, since those would be the only ones relevant right now being that this is a discussion about how the Warriors got to be so dominant.

It’s not as if slaves lived in nice houses and were fed any sort of proper, nutritious meal, so the economics behind having a person do nothing but free labor all day still seems to make sense when the other (reality) choice is to pay someone $7.50/hr and have to treat them like an actual human being.

I’m not sure why you’re bringing up salaries beyond the 2016/2017 season, being that my argument applies solely to the seasons prior to now. I never said the players “relinquished a dime” or anything of the sort. My point is that their deals are great for the Warriors because they are extremely talented at such a

That’s what I thought too, until I lived there and realized the winters are much worse. You can look up the average temps if you don’t believe me

Here are the salaries for the 2016/2017 Warriors:

As someone who lived in Minnesota for 8 years (yea, fuck me), there is no place more miserably cold in the winters (and I grew up in Wisconsin). But hey, the skywalks around Target Center are pretty legit if you’re into that sorta thing.

It also helps when everyone excluding Durant is paid like they’re role players versus top 10-20 players.

That destiny could come true if he stays in Cleveland and LeBron opts out to go to LA.

No one is asking border agents not to check IDs at the border. I’m not sure where this article or any comment stated otherwise. If they want to keep the border safe, I would suggest starting at the border (or even better, starting within the US in general, such as drug legislation and the process of becoming a legal

So sending a video of a perfectly normal stop of a white woman is somehow going to change public policy to disallow racism?

It’s not “underwhelming” as much as it is hard to believe that in a world where a teenage girl can be anyone (ie “no one”) and a guy who is stabbed 10+ times can be brought back to the dead, that three dragons (again, DRAGONS) can be brought down by a immobile cross bow.

Slightly off Topic- wearing a bikini at night on some streets in Brooklyn, and even some small towns could get you in just as much trouble. Example: Jewish groups have been trying to close bike lanes in Brooklyn because they feel the women are too scantily dressed when they ride.

Regarding your last point - I agree. But when I watched it, it seemed like even his teammates knew he was the only chance they had. They would get the ball, and almost instantly be looking for him.

I don’t necessarily think people dislike Westbrook the person. I think most people watch him play and admire his insane effort and grit, but they also see him taking pull up 3's with 16 seconds on the clock (for someone who is also a career 31% 3-point shooter).

Sidenote: why does Dana White believe that his “heart thing” takes away from his ability to correctly ref a fight? Or is it just that he needs to find something to take issue with when he believes a fighter was F’ed? I’ll take the latter....

As a fellow white person, this is like the go-to playbook for white people when discussing literally any black issue.

I probably would’ve stopped listening the moment your conservative friend started stating that not visiting the WH is somehow “dehumanizing the other side”.

Why is it that the term “superteam” can only apply to a team formed through FA and not drafting? The term seems to describe a team which is greater than your average “great” team, so I don’t see why drafting or FA have anything to do with the word.

Just saw my ex-gf from high school, who just happened to shit pants when we were dating in high school (I was not present, unfortunately).

I don’t care if the Cavs lose, but please let them win Game 5.
