Lebron, or any other “star player”, is going to have a tough time beating the greatest regular season team in history (now + Kevin Durant) if Kyrie/Love can’t shoot consistent in quarters 1-3 and your starting SG has a combined 3 points through two games. Not to mention, TT has basically disappeared in this series.

What is relevance of comparing the stats from Wade/Curry two years prior to them getting Lebron/Durant? Wade got older and more often injured, and Curry became a 2-time MVP and Finals champ (nearly two). at the time, Wade had just brought a crappy team to 47 wins, received the all-star MVP and was pretty much the 2nd best player in the NBA he was actually better at that point in his career than Curry was...(at the very least they were on the same level) and people need to stop underrating Bosh he was easily a top 10…

Agreed. It’s literally all about consistency to me. I honestly don’t care if they call something like traveling only when it’s really obvious, but don’t call the exact same thing two different ways, which is what they did between Steph and Durant’s half court shots last night.

Jeff Van Gundy is a moderate compared to what I would do to the fouling rules.

Everyone can argue all they want, but Lebron doesn’t foul Steph on this play by any stretch of the hand check rule. We would literally be calling fouls on every possession if that’s the actual take on this play. We also don’t get to ignore Steph’s obvious double dribble simply because some other foul during the game…

Like I said, if we start calling those extremely ticky tack fouls (and I still don’t see a foul there) Lebron would’ve shot 20+ free throws last night.

On the same play, LeBron is clearly shown grabbing Steph’s arm (before the double-dribble occurs) which was also not called, so I’m going to call this one even.

The only thing I really, really dislike about the double dribble last night is the fact that Lebron fans are going to use this as “proof” that the only way you can beat him is if you cheat to do it.

I always find these types of dress codes to be oddly confusing. If you’re saying “exposed shoulders” are not allowed at school, how exactly do you justify the vast majority of sports uniforms, such as wrestling, volleyball, basketball, swimming, etc?

Well, maybe an apology for doing something isn’t the best time to make an absolute statement (literal or not) about never doing exactly that thing? It’s an attempt to avoid responsibility, and it diminishes the sincerity of his apology.
