My company sells a lot of door hardware to Marriot Hotels, and since this incident, we are required to provide the above viewer (peep hole) to combat the issue. Sadly, in this industry, the worst things seem to be the best for business. After Sandy Hook, school renovations for increased security went through the roof.…
Sometimes trolling can be a much more effective way of protesting.
b..b..but that’ll take away from exciting college sports experience at the University of Colorado....
Of course the first kid to get upset about the mild, can’t-even-call-it-a-push is a white kid wearing a sleeve who isn’t playing in the game. Bro 101
Lebron 2011 Finals: 17.8 pts, 48% FG, 32% 3PT, 7.2 reb, 6.8 assists, 1.7 stls —- which was described as an epic meltdown performance (and in someways it was). Iguodala’s MVP Finals - 16.3/5.8/4.0
I’ll give you that. I don’t think he necessarily shut him down, but in the context of superstars (Lebron, Durant, etc) I think we use the terms a little more loosely. I just thought it was pretty amazing that a guy most teams wouldn’t put on their roster was the one player who seemed to be able to get to Steph, and…
I don’t see how he’s comparable at all to a hockey goon. He plays defense exactly how the “new NBA is soooo soft” folks desire. I don’t think he plays dirty or has ever tried to intentionally injure another player. I think he gets a bad reputation because 1) he almost always tries to foul you in the fast break and 2)…
Is there another defender in the NBA who has done better at stopping Curry, let alone in the Finals? I’m not saying he’s God’s gift at stopping Curry, but he clearly affected him throughout the Finals which resulted in him not even getting a single vote for MVP.
Is the other 25% is set aside for shutting down Steph Curry?

I don’t think they necessarily should be apologetic. I would never say that Taylor or anyone else doesn’t have talent or isn’t a true artist (I completely understand your point though). I think it’s awesome that they see how talented of an artist he is, and they can show him love even if he doesn’t win.
It seems like an odd strategy to ban two things that are so easy to avoid detection:
Child Student: Did the Confederate flag represent slavery for the South?
It seemed like most other artists were almost apologetic towards him when they would win an award over him. Taylor Swift, who’s music couldn’t be any more different than Kendrick’s, seemed genuinely shocked that she beat him for Album of the Year and showed her appreciation for his work by hugging him before she…
I don’t know if there’s a more holier than thou sports fan base than hockey fans. I love hockey, but hockey fans really need to give up on the whole “basketball sucks, hockey is for real men, SEE HOW WE PLAY WITH BLOOD AND BROKEN BONES!!” narrative.
He doesn’t lean in at all on the play. He takes on dribble to his right when the defender is 8-10 feet away, and the guy was too slow to stop his momentum. He clearly puts a hard shoulder right into him because he can’t stop himself. I don’t think CP needed to sell (flop) at all.
So by that definition, any time a player is on a fast break you can just jump in front of him? I don’t see how that’s any different. He didn’t have any sort of defensive position, was running somewhat right in the path of CP, and then trucked over him with his shoulder when he moved. It’s not like CP jumped in front…
