Infield fly rule happens a lot more often than the situation last night so the comparison seems pretty stupid.

The difference between an uproar and no uproar is the degree of push the player gives the ball before it goes out of bounds (its already intended path of travel). I get the batting rule is a rule, but lets not act like him batting it or grabbing it has literally any difference in the outcome of the play. Both teams…
If you invited someone to become a connection, say a CEO or HR manager of a company you had a lot of interest in employing you, and he/she forgot to respond, and then was peppered with 2-3 follow up emails with your name/picture (which caused him to feel annoyed or bothered by you specifically); then I would say you…
I guess I’m confused a bit on your gripe. Yes, receiving unwanted emails for jobs you are not qualified for, or are not in your industry is extremely annoying. Yet, based on the new policy, recruiters (most of whom are legitimate) are discouraged from sending out offers they don’t have absolute certainty may turn into…
I might be in the minority of LinkedIn users, but I very, very rarely receive a message from a recruiter for a position I clearly am not qualified or interested (somewhat) in. Actually, I can credit LinkedIn for my past two jobs via recruiters, who were simply competition of my past employer. As someone whose title…
Except LinkedIn was sending follow up emails, without your permission, multiple times. How do you create a spam folder or “hit the delete button” on that unwanted feature?
I wonder where an entire generation of Millennials would learn celebrations ..... hmmmmmm
I always love the logic of “hey we gave up a homer, might as well give up another free base tomorrow as payback”.
Douchecanoe is too perfect.
I don’t want to hear a single fucking person defending a guy who threw at another player’s head, for literally no reason, and then tried to act as if he did absolutely nothing wrong. This is the same guy who grabbed his crotch at the crowd last year.
If any teammates think Papelbon was in the right, they’re fucking morons. Harper is the franchise at the moment. Papelbon actually hurts the franchise more than he helps. He thinks throwing at a guys head, for literally no reason, is some casual part of the game; yet he thinks not running out routine fly balls is…
You can't possible be serious with those examples.
1/10 troll attempt
I think most fans consider losing, as the #3 ranked team, to an unranked team embarrassing.
Hey SteveInWI, I’m JakeWishIWasBackInWI. Go Pack!
Because their mother may lie and force their lawyer to withdraw? That’s why women don’t like to report rapes? Or is your statement nothing to do with the article?
What exactly is Papelbon and the Nats manager arguing? You missed where your catcher was setup by over 2 feet, and it happened to be right at Machado’s head. If you’re going to intentionally hit someone, be a man about it. Coward stuff, just as Machado said.
It doesn’t, and I don’t believe I ever stated that it does. I stated the average soccer game takes 2 hours and 10 minutes. A football game has four 15 minute quarters, yet it takes 3-4 hours. There’s a difference between viewing time and actual game time.
Being that the discussion is completely about game clocks counting up or down, the sports that do not use a game clock would seem to be irrelevant.
