I agree. The spectacle is what made the NFL what it is today, in its current form. The Super Bowl did that in the 1980s. But, I think the NFL will slowly lose its television dominance. It will be popular, but not on the level now.

If that happens, then the federation will be blown up. And, soccer will lose its chance to become more relevant in this country.

I agree. While I am a huge fan of MLS (because I want it to become one of the world’s best leagues), I acknowledge that it is run by risk-averse owners who are not scared into building better clubs. So, unless MLS changes, things will not improve for the USMNT.
