Not really. Teslas aren’t limited to charging on just the Supercharger network, they can use the other networks too. There’s already an adapter that allows them to use ChaDeMo, and in Europe, there’s a CCS adapter as well. For North America, there hasn’t been a reason to provide a CCS adapter since the Superchargers

There’s simply no denying that the supercharger network is an incredible feat of Tesla. Yes, other companies do fast charging as well, but it’s simply not as elegant as it could be, and as it is with Tesla.

Also, your map includes level two....

Wealthy people need ass wiping paper too, and they hate overpaying for it.

Thats cute.

Same thought. The leasing market is huge for the Germans and this will tank residuals. This is why shareholders are angry at the German automakers for not coming up with something competitive to Tesla.

4th gear:  Maybe people don’t want to own a German car out of warranty.  Besides, when has a German car ever held it’s value?

It’s almost as if those interiors don’t seem all that terrible to people if they don’t have some irrational hatred for a car company as a result of tangential ties to oil and gas production. Strange indeed.

Really? you may want to google net versus gross HP. while the sixties cars were not saddled with terrible engineers misunderstanding s of emissions so they did not have retarded cams, no compression and were not choked off by crappy catalytic converters, but they still were not likely putting anywhere near the

but 225 hp was totally competitive in 1988 - the Mustangs and Supras and Corvettes and 300Z’s and even Grand National of the same year had equivalent HP numbers -

Some of them are very intrusive, like on the Focus and Fiesta. Others have them hidden as a flush back-lit touchpad in the door pillar, and those are extremely lit.

This was 100 horses greater than the 302 at its weakest. No, by today’s standards it’s still not a laudable outout, but that just makes today’s engines all the more amazing when you think about it.

re: the keypad- it’s the single car feature that I’ve done the hardest 180 on after hearing about its purpose. I’d thought they were ugly as sin (to say nothing of the security risk) but then someone told me that I could lock my keys in the car while at the beach instead of stuffing them in a sock under a towel in the

Just as a point of fact “wages have been steadily increasing” this is false. Using 1970 as a baseline the minimum wage would be over $10 and the median wage has not moved

I agree. The solution to poverty is a simple, two-step process.

Except the wagon typically has more room behind the rear seat than a small crossover.

That’s the most common argument against minivans I hear though.. “I don’t want to be seen in a minivan” was what a good friend of mine just said before she went out and bought a durango. She doesn’t tow anything, has 5 kids, and paid more for the durango than she would have paid for a toyota sienna that gets better

“My parents didn’t care about me enough so I can’t possibly comprehend any parents giving a shit.

I don’t understand modern parenting at all.

What are you talking about? I honestly don’t see a point here. Are we supposed to feel sorry for you, or just be terrible parents to make you feel better?

I’ve honestly always loved the minivan form factor. The comfort and the utility are supreme. It’s always boggled my mind that the average “eligible” consumer eschews them for something that appears to be ostensibly less frumpy. Look, if you’re the parent of a brood of hyperactive, sloppy kids, you may as well swallow
