These are the white people that African Americans have known forever. These are the types of people we interact with at work, in public, in nearly every area of life. A very few of them are now making themselves visible to everyone. But it’s the same old shit we’ve always dealth with.

I think you are missing the fact that this is a man who serially raped black women. That they are questioning the testimony of multiple black women for the exoneration of a white man absolutely has to do with race as much as it does misogyny.
