I saw something on another site earlier today that said it’s coming out on April 5th!

The “before” screen caps look like the old VHS / broadcast TV versions with the brightness turned all the way up to compensate for how dark some of the scenes are. I’m not saying that’s what they are, that’s just an analogy for how damn bad they look in my opinion. I know the Blu-rays I own currently look a hell of a…
The first DVD release was pretty bad, IIRC. On VHS they were even worse, the scenes in the study were so damn dark you could barely see anything. the initial DVD release was definitely better and I think they did do some sort of remastering, which greatly improved the contrast and restored a lot of detail to the…
Keying the cars came to my mind as well but keying someone’s car is fucked up no matter the circumstances.
I’m going to dig into the depths of my faith in mankind and assume that the gravy somehow melts without burning and there’s no ash in the gravy, but I’m not sure how that would work. Maybe there’s a wax candle surrounded by gravy and the gravy melts faster than the wax burns? anyway, as long as I’m not dipping into…
It’s not acceptable in those professions either.
It’s a shame that a small but significant fraction of cops are allowed to do all the horrible things that they do. We don’t tolerate this sort of crap with other very high-stakes jobs and we shouldn’t tolerate it with cops either.
He was one of Lucas’ teachers at USC.
Basically, AMC’s little experiment to see if people would notice or care that they were paying as much $1.50 extra for no reason worked out exactly the way the company wanted.
Wait, vacuums are for showing off now? I’ve been storing my ugly old Kenmore canister vac in the closet, have I been doing it wrong all this time?

I worked at Taco bell back then and our ticket average for a dinner shift drawer was something like $4. That’s the average of all tickets, not per-person, so the cost of grabbing dinner per person was probably under $2.
The anodization is mostly cosmetic but there is some serious pitting on there that could potentially compromise durability. I don’t know that these parts are subjected to sufficient forces for it to become an issue, but it is certainly a lot of pitting.
The median salary in the NFL is much, much lower than that though. probably 90% of the salary cap goes to maybe a dozen players out of 53. So even at this level there’s a high degree of inquality

I figured they couldn’t put it in the article itself but that it would not take long to find it. Thanks!
That’s a very good point about Sam and Diane... but the upside to getting spoiled about grogu leaving Luke (which I’m guessing is what happened) is that now I can watch S3 of Mandalorian without bothering to watch Boba Fett. Hopefully it’s more Mandalorian-specific plots and not so connected to the Jedis and existing…
Yeah I’ve definitely paced guys who were tailgating me before... yes it’s shitty and stupid but it’s also damn satisfying! This was mostly back in my 20's though, I’m in my 40's and a bit more mature so it’s been quite a while since I’ve pulled a stunt like this. but even back in my 20's this was always a bit of a…
It’s like the dunning-kruger effect if you apply it to niceness instead of talent.
A faith based film is a bad example for the reasons you cite, but the disconnect between audiences and the academy has been there for a long time if you look at other popular genres.
You’re 100% right. The problem is the Academy hasn’t figured out what Rogen has; that we don’t give a shit about who wins Best Live Action Short. No offense to the nominees because I know it’s not easy and they probably all deserve the recognition. But accounts receivable ain’t easy either and I don’t expect anyone to…
