it’s been pretty widely known how scummy this guy and the site is for a LONG time. Barstool sports took the shitty early 00's “bros before hoes” culture elevated it to nearly cult-level while the rest of the world matured past that sort of misogyny.

I don’t know about the times Square restaurant but my wife made me go to his Las Vegas restaurant and It was actually delicious. I was fully expecting it to be shitty frozen bar food but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

Yes, he was very much a classic rock guy. Journey songs made appearances in other episodes as well, although I’m not sure if he was shown listening to Journey in another episode or not (the other time a Journey song ends an episode it is non-diegetic).

And he hinted at it a few times before that. And even before hinting at it, its VERY clear to anyone who re-watches the show and looks for the foreshadowing. Yes, it’s subtle and somewhat ambiguous, and I know there is a lot more too it if you want to really get into the subtextual stuff and all that. But for those

it’s one of those that’s worth watching a second time (or a third or fourth, I’m re-watching it with my son now and I think this will be my fifth time through the whole series. in any case, when you re-watch the show it becomes VERY clear what happens in the end. Just last night we were watching an episode in season

No, you should ABSOLUTELY watch it. The ending is incredible and the people who got mad about it are idiots who can’t be bothered to think for themselves.

Same here. My wife and I watched every episode. We knew it was trashy but didn’t care. It was fun while it lasted but also kinda a one-shot deal; I really don’t feel the need to watch this again.

Sure, there were some shots that were unique, but pretty much everything once the floating fortress started falling apart looked like a lot of other MCU action scenes. Lots of explosions that blow characters into big solid objects without killing them, debris flying around that always narrowly misses the main

Here’s the poorly written part: nowhere in this bill is it actually made explicitly illegal to own or use a non-compliant exhaust.

OMG what an idiot! There was literally a supreme court case about this exact scenario a couple of months ago. If he had parked in the garage and closed the door they would not have been able to pursue him into the house.  Sure, they would have been able to get a warrant and they would have found the car in the garage

Yes, I would say that binging does help, the last two seasons felt like they were action-packed compared to how I remember them. also they kinda lean on the earlier seasons a bit for their emotional impact because the characters were written so damn well in the first four seasons, and all that was fresh in my mind

On the subject of people pissed off about the last couple seasons of GOT, I just re-watched the whole show, and to my surprise they were actually quite good. I’m being 100% serious right now; I kept waiting for it to get to the point where it would start to suck, but I enjoyed it right down to the finale. Yes, I will

Yeah if it’s me there’s absolutely NO way I turn them down. The whole fucking internet could fuck off too, cause I’d be on GAME OF FUCKING THRONES.

This thread is FULL of non parents!

nope, I just want to dress my kid up in something funny.

Non parent’s aren’t going to understand this, but sometimes we actually take these things a little less seriously than they are. Putting your kids in ironic costumes when they’re too little to protest is one of the great joys of parenthood. It reminds me of when our oldest fell asleep on his bedroom floor next to his

Don’t worry, the baby-industrial complex has a plethora of baby skin safe materials available. The cost is outrageous, but if there’s one thing our economy lacks, it’s sure as hell not over priced products that will make your baby safer.

Not that you mention Pat with an appropriate pronoun it makes me want to re-watch some of those becuase I think they might have an unexpected relevance in a modern context. Thinking of Pat with a non-binary pronoun destroys the premise of the joke but also kinda exposes that premise for the bullshit that it was (and

My dad had a burgundy and brown Concorde and then later (also my first car) a Maroon 1988 Cherokee Pioneer with a brown interior. The concorde was decidedly cheesy but those Cherokees looked GREAT in Maroon and Brown.

That fake woodgrain on the instruments! As a child of the 80's that REALLY hits the spot for me.
