The blackmailing of Real Nanette felt pretty much exactly like the blackmailing of most of the characters in Shut Up and Dance. The fact that the blackmail (whitemail?) was being used for good instead of evil did not change the unpleasant vibe I got off of it. It’s a narrative shortcut to get Real Nanette from Point A…
