@mechimike: In the US, you are correct. In Europe, I think the 1.9 was an option. 1.1 was standard. I will be buying one of these to restore in the near future.
@TxBrumski: thread over. Best joke award goes to TxBrumski! Well played, sir!
@RäcinG73™: Almost spot-on. Normal.
@Roberto G.: Parking brake must not work too well? I can tell by the large rock in front of the tire there, stopping it from rolling away.
@ttyymmnn: Speaking as a "downstate" Illinois native, you have to be north of the latitude Joliet, IL is on to even be in the running for "Chicago Suburb" status (generally I-80 is the line, but it swings north through the south suburbs.) If you live in Chicago, anything south of I-80 is "downstate". Where I live,…
@Number_Six: Ah, yes, Kankakee County, IL. The county seat of which is Kankakee, IL. You might recognize the name from David Letterman's many jokes about the "Worst Community in America". I live about an hour southwest of Kankakee. It is NOT a Chicago suburb. Just another hick town in the middle of nowhere.
@hopskipper: I've read this. It was pretty interesting, and I would've believed it non-fiction until the last few chapters.
@Monty: All I can say to them is to get the thing to market AND NOT HALF-DONE asap. HP's not the only one that wants a slice of that sweet iPad pie. WebOS is a great little mobile operating system, and will hold its own well against iOS and Android in the tablet space.
@LandofMinos, believes in dog.: Simplest terms, it's a list of links that gets updated every so often. You set up Vuze to 'subscribe' to it, whenever a torrent gets released to that site that matches certain criteria, it appears in the RSS Feed, and Vuze downloads it and remembers that. So, I don't have to remember…
The look on the co-driver's face is epic. He's all like: "Ahhhhhhhhh", and the driver's like: "Chill out, Steve. I got this. Powah!!!".
I'm very glad things are working out for you. If I was in the market for say, a GT-R, and was anywhere within a day's drive of Concord, you'd have that sale, man.
@LandofMinos, believes in dog.: ezrss.it + RSS-compatible bittorrent client FTW. My copy is already waiting for me at home. Know how I know? Vuze's web interface told me so. :)
Wow, this just makes him sound like an asshole, granted, the luckiest asshole in the world.
@Baby Beater Benz: Same here with my '05-and-a-half Jetta. Someone has 'hacked' it, and I'm planning on giving it a shot as soon as I get some spare time.
@Optixtruf: Best part is the 2 firefighters in the front: "Nah, just let it burn. It's for the best."
@spiegel1: It's a Corvette, so you can keep the gut, the receding hairline, and the impotence. Everyone else that owns one did. :)
At least T.I. is bringing out new models. HP still makes and sells as "new" the same calculator I bought in high school in 1997. Hooray for the 48GX, and RPN For The Win!!!
@Kerc 2.0 beta: My goodness, that Sbarro guy is summarily nucking futs! Here's a reasonably complete listing of everything he's made: [sbarro.perso.neuf.fr] Madness!
@Kerc 2.0 beta: Looks like the bastard child of a DMC12 and a doorstop.
