Pudgy lobster here too! I also tried to get into running and I just can never do it. I HATE IT. I love to swim and some gym classes though so that helps me keep my fitness levels ok.

Thank you for sharing this. I am able-bodied but have witnessed several people very close to me die of cancer and I am a fervent believer in assisted suicide. I had never thought of someone that is not terminal but very heavily impaired may feel. You made me more compassionate and wiser.

I don’t think I agree with this interpretation. I wonder if this is the same exhibition that was at the V&A in London last year. Kahlo was mostly housebound and used her dress and her style as a profound statement of who she was. Learning about that and connecting it to her paintings was a lot more interesting to me…
