Mostly I meant, is Leah Lewis in a lot of the show and is her character good?
I had heard about supernatural ghosts in the show and it does sound entertainingly wild. But I think that’s not too crazy for Nancy Drew? At least the PC games I see all have a supernatural hook.
If I really liked Leah Lewis in the Half of It and want to see more Leah Lewis, think I would like it?
Good to hear! I mean sucks if you loved it but a decent ending is rare in one season wonders. Looks like I have a show to finish.
True. But there’s degrees of “damn this cliffhanger” and “oh I’d like to see some of those plot threads resolved. Oh well.”
Yeah I did watch the first episode and found it mostly fun. Looked a little flat and a little cliche but it had charm with its cast.
That thing is creepy as fuck.
I actually did mean to watch the Company You Keep but it really did seem guaranteed to not be renewed with how much it was promoted vs the wait for a renewal. And that was before the writer’s strike.
I think I vaguely remember hearing about this? But forgot so I’m pleasantly surprised that they’re doing a spin-off. Hopefully it’s just as fun and charming as the first and third movies. The second one was by no means bad but felt bogged down by a love triangle.
I did really like this exchange between Janet and Hank. Just telling each other about their flings without any big drama and grossing out Hope in the process.
I was surprised to see that Malcolm McDowell appears to be a regular on that show? I saw him on a bus ad.
Having not seen the first two, the trailer actually kind of sold me on the movie. I’ve seen it twice at the theater and both times I ended up thinking “this looks really fun.”
He seems perfectly pleasant if not too much sometimes.
Hey Tran was the one that set them up! He was doing his granddaughter a...solid? Or I guess Nick a solid since she was way more put together than Nick. And she was over the top rich.
I first saw Greta Lee on New Girl and was a big (only?) supporter of Nick ending up with Kai.
I thought that was your last name.
Spider really surprised me because on paper I think he sounds like he would be the worst character in the movie.
Really enjoyed Lady Fay! I thought Lili did a great job with a character who isn’t the a main character but leaves you wanting more. Loved seeing the glimpse into her personal life at the laundry place while also seeing her play up her mystique for a customer.
Did KPOP get bad reviews? I’m not a broadway person so I’m genuinely asking.
