Trump’s a grifter and a carnival barker. That’s it. The Art of Deal, the stupid fucking book that salvaged his career when he was revealed to be a fraud the first time, was ghostwritten by a guy who says he barely talked to Trump and made most of it up. Before last year he’d been reduced to schilling for Trump

> right now, in 2017, what separates the USA from other countries?

And once I again I was most moved by Kinmel’s speech. There is so much sincerity in his speech (not that there isn’t with the others, usually Colbert tops my favourite of the night, then Conan). But there is something about how personal this tragedy (and the healthcare debacle) is for him that really hits me in the

The Fool’s role is often to speak truth to power. The play is a comedy when they’re heard, a tragedy when they’re not.

If you’re saying that Fred Armisen did a better Obama than Jay Pharoah, you’re right, nobody is going to agree with you.

(Facepalm)

See this is why Woody was always better than Buzz.

Seriously, I’m less put-off by Tim Allen being conservative and more being put-off that he’s such an ungrateful crybaby. Two syndicated sitcoms to his name? He’s made in the shade. We should all be so lucky.

“...a funny, likable conservative character”

that...that’s not a thing.

He LITERALLY compared being a conservative in Hollywood to being a Jew in the Third Reich. I don’t think perspective or empathy is his strong point.

The show was on for SIX YEARS! That’s a terribly long time. It’s already syndicated on a number of a channels. ABC cancelled the show because they had beaten all the life they could have out of this dead horse. Stop playing the victim for a long running show coming to an end.

I love how it’s all about “let the invisible hand of the market do its thing” for these people and when it doesn’t work out, it’s some grand conspiracy that has to have occurred for a “likeable conservative character” to not be received by the free market.

How do you do, fellow coders?

That clip was honestly kind of shocking and insane. Remember that AV Club article a few years ago from a widower criticizing how movies and tv exploit the death of a loved one? That was all I could think of.

So the 2017 version of the Make Room For Daddy “Mommy’s gone to heaven” moment is “Bills, bills, she’s dead, by the way.” Delightful.

I didn’t catch on to the metaphorical language at first so I thought they literally murdered the character on the show and there was going to be some joke about her corpse being under the floorboards.

You know you can just tell your daughter that the Emoji movie was already sold out and take her to see something good instead?

I’ve been so impressed with the thoughfulness and introspection demonstrated by the players over the weekend. These idiots are the opposite of that.

Jacqueline on Kimmy Schmidt was right.
