Just watch this instead.
I’m a little skeptical of Meryl, Judi and Kate coming out with such strong statements, it really just seems like they’re trying to get ahead of it. Especially since they’ve been involved with films his company produced, and benefitted, so it’s a lot of “I feel so naive/I had no idea” but no acknowledging how Harvey…
And since we’re talking statues, he has a great one across from Parliament in Ottawa.
It looks like Terry Fox in casual wear.
Not in the article but a great guest verse by Kendrick Lamar: Beyonce’s “Freedom”. I guess it doesn’t really fit in with the “crew, cred or cash-in” theme but it needs a mention. And the live performance at the BET awards last year was amazing.
I was thinking if Louie Anderson and Buzz from Home Alone had a kid, he would be their spawn.
But why does the anthem need to play at a sporting event in the first place? That’s the question I’ve been asking myself, and I can’t think of a good response.
I thought the review here was way too harsh, and it got a C grade compared to the C+ for the Hitman’s Bodyguard, what the heck did they put in the water that day! Comparing both (yes I saw the latter in theatres, not my choice), The Hitman’s Bodyguard was so low budget and felt like it dragged on forever. Golden…
Seth DeValve did during a preseason game.
Discovered his music after it was featured on Big Little Lies, and his two songs on that soundtrack are on repeat a lot on my iPod. He played at Jazzfest earlier in Ottawa this summer and I really wanted to go, but my work schedule was too crazy. Shame, RIP Mr Bradley.
OK not “O Brother, Where Art Thou” like I originally posted. But I’m gonna tell myself “Good guess!”
I was going to comment that this can’t be an original show because there was definitely a 90s version!
There was an episode of Leah Remini’s show that focused on a married couple where the wife briefly brought up being forced to terminate a pregnancy. It probably wasn’t even 5 minutes long but it was so heartbreaking it’s stuck with me months later.
Very powerful and true statement closing the last paragraph, nice choice of words Katie.
-Saw an afternoon showing of “It” on Thursday (shift worker here so my weekends are all over the map), and it was an empty theatre except for one other pair. I quite liked it, it got me scared pretty good in a few spots and three nights later I’m still having trouble sleeping. I thought it balanced humour and horror…
That defence for the “Access Hollywood” incident is inconceivable.
It was awhile ago but I do remember reading that she was interested in continuing the role, it’s Sony that wants to do a whole reboot. Which I think is a shame because I really liked her performance in “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”.
It worked
Well, “I’m so angry I’m considering not having a threesome” is my new go to phrase.
