I've had a shot at it. I tested it on my freshly cleaned Converse. I used my homemade grey card (Adam's tip) because I'm not ready to spend £15 on a piece of grey just yet.
Would it affect the grey card if I laminated it?
If you're a UK based hacker and it's nearly impossible to find an Altoids tin, you can get a very similar sized tin of "curiously strong mints" at M&S
This reminds me of that infamous Household Hacker video where he made a speaker out of tin foil and a plate. I can't believe I actually fell for that
My phone contract is up soon. I'd love an iPhone 4, but if I can't afford it I might get a HTC Desire

The wallpaper on the tablet looks incredibly like one you can get on the iPad
@shallnot: For other people the staples might spark. Probably safer just folding a few times
How would I make sweet popcorn then? I could probably melt some sugar over a stove and stir the unpopped kernels in. Would that work do you think? Anyway, I'm going to try this. It's really hard to get paper bags in Guernsey, it's all these plastic 'Bags for Life' now.
That's probably the rare china mugs I ordered
Here's a credit card sized "Photographers Rights
Aww, I wish my Pentax did long exposure shots.
