I mean, there were some alpacas at my wedding, but they just happened to live there. I was sure at least one of my guests would wind up breaching the alpaca enclosure once drunk but both humans and alpacas remained on best behavior.

Thank you! We find out Wednesday. Yes, definitely planning on filming and sharing. :-)
Thanks! :-) Will do.
I'm expecting in May and I have identical twin brothers who are the most alike-looking adults you are ever likely to see. I am gleefully awaiting the baby's introduction to them as a pair next Christmas...we will definitely be taking video.
YES the top layer of my wedding cake was lemon, with cream cheese frosting. The middle layer was Macintosh apple and the bottom layer was carrot but the lemon was the best IMO. I made them all, which was objectively crazy but I was so happy I did it in the end.
OMG I keep the Lavender Lulu bags in my car because commuting 45 miles each way while pregnant is no joke. If you're going to barf while operating a motor vehicle you might as well do it in style...
There were alpacas at our wedding...not because we sought to have them there but because the farm that the reception was at happened to have a couple of alpacas. They just stayed in their enclosure and kept to themselves. We did, however, get photobombed by some chickens.
At first I felt bad about it, but honestly, if you're buying skincare there in addition to makeup it really does add up quickly...
I'm only 11 weeks and so far I have managed to come home from the store with the item shelved next to the item I meant to buy on three separate occasions.
LOL. Take off your damn boots, lady!
My upstairs neighbor is in the habit of occasionally doing what I can only assume are step aerobics to random, super-loud pop music at 2 or 3 AM. Also her washing machine often leaks massive amounts of water into our utility room, and we have to bang and bang and bang on her door for ages to get her attention, and…
I was roofied at a beer festival by an employee of one of the breweries offering samples. I drank the equivalent of maybe two and a half beers over a couple of hours, but was so out of it that I fell down the stairs in the subway. I'm very thankful that I didn't get separated from my large group of friends that day...
I really can't recommend doing SOME sort of premarital counseling, whether church/officiant-led or sought separately, highly enough. There were so many things that we had kind of discussed but not explicitly, or just assumed that we were on the same page about, and actually having to sit down and go through them one…
It doesn't say anywhere in the original article whether he ever had any treatment for the slipped disc that caused the reaction...it seems like in such an extreme situation, an immediate microdiscectomy would remove the disc matter impinging on the affected nerves. I had a debilitating herniated disc for the better…
I'm only halfway through the second book , but the narrator is Cassie from the first, so it gives you a bit of a glimpse into that situation from her perspective (though only in brief asides), and overall she is a much more sympathetic (and reliable) narrator. I liked In the Woods, but The Likeness is much better, in…
My first name on my birth certificate has an apostrophe it in instead of an accent mark. It's my secret shame.
Yeah, that loop around Buena Vista Park especially is ridiculously hilly.
I don't particularly like their coffee, apart from the iced dark roast, but there is no west coast substitute for their sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin, aka the best hangover cure in existence.
I totally agree with you. My fiance's taste in food isn't perfect - he likes his meat well done and eschews many types of seafood, while I love rare beef and pretty much anything that ever came out of a body of water, bonus points if it's raw. But he will happily eat just about anything else, including pretty much all…
Agree with everything you said. My family's Polish too, so maybe it's a Polish thing. :-)
