True, but you didn't get Brian Williams!

Having family dinner was very important to my parents, and while it sure annoyed the hell out of me sometimes as a teen, I think it benefited my brothers and me a lot. I don't have a family yet, but it's something that I expect to be very important to me when I do.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I agree. My boyfriend's cousin was mauled by a neighbor's pit bull as a toddler and suffered lasting developmental damage as a result. My cousin, who has long had two pit bulls, recently had a baby, and every time she posts a photo of the dogs' heads next to the baby's head I

I had the opportunity to be in your friend's situation and just couldn't do it. A very senior executive from a Middle Eastern bank became completely enamored with me after meeting me through work and spent the next couple of years trying to convince me to come meet him anywhere in the world I wanted to go, bring

Agreed. My cousin went to BJU and then was surprised to find herself unable to get a job...teaching science...in Massachusetts. Um, duh.

I don't work for Facebook, but I do work for a tech company in the Silicon Valley. I am an extremely efficient worker and I will not work late as a rule unless there's a hard deadline. I'm in around 8:15 every day and out around 4:45 (effing 101 traffic!). I feel like I've always gotten respect for setting those

She recently did a song with Kenny Chesney, and I believe she's opening his summer tour as well...

Do you think it's easier to learn on a recurve? Less fancy, but also less taxing to use. I've actually never shot a compound.

I think this is awesome. Coming from NH, archery was a unit we took each year in gym class, and as someone who wasn't overly athletic but was a pretty good shot, it gave me a lot of confidence that I sorely needed at that point in my life.

I very much agree with this. As children my brothers and I were allowed unfettered access to basically any kind of junk food you can imagine, and we were were all borderline obese as a result. Most of the adults in my family were (and remain) obese, so there wasn't any real concern over our weight or health since it

I don't know about the Bobbi Brown one, but I have been a regular user of both Stila Smudge Pots and MAC Fluidline and started using the HIP one after I realized that they just all dry out faster than you can use them.

I work in Sunnyvale (not for any of the companies mentioned) and my first thought was, 'People actually live here? I thought it was just a city of massive office parks.' I stand corrected...

Obnoxious? That's a little harsh, don't you think? The point she was making was that she did not have any risk factors...and 12 months later had CIN III. At least two other commenters, myself included, have had similar or worse diagnoses in a similar time frame. That's three of us who would likely be very sick or

Me too - normal Pap to CIN III in 14 months, and the only reason I even had another Pap that soon is because I moved cross country, changed jobs, and changed doctors and insurance providers as a result. I shudder to think what would have happened otherwise.

I don't know. As a 28-year-old who was diagnosed with CIN III only 14 months after a normal Pap, I don't want to think about what my doctor might have found if I waited three years instead of just over one...

I do too. It's bold and it looks great on her.

French Canadian names are incredible. I had a great great uncle named Napoleon.

I worked for a Solveig. It's a beautiful name, but EVERYONE assumed she was a man. Any time she signed a document she would put (Mrs.) after so people would quit it.

My great grandma had a sister named Edwidge. Okay in French, very much not in English. Made worse by the fact that my great grandma was named Ophelia, which is beautiful, and their other sister was Exandrine, which is a little random but cool.

I've got about a 36" inseam and I swear by Worthington tights from JC Penney. They fit really well, are cheap and durable, and come in a huuuuuuuuuge array of colors and patterns.
