@MissSmartyjeans: Agreed on the toe seam, although a lot of tights don't even have them these days. I've also worn them with cage heels and other rock-and-rollish shoes to good effect.

@rollsnideroll: I wear open toed shoes with tights all the time...as long as the shoe is not overly delicate, it can look cool.

In my house growing up the cat and dog always got an equal number of presents, because my mother is exact like that.

I stopped worrying about my conduct at office parties when I had to attend my company's annual sales meeting in Las Vegas. What happens there does not stay there when colleagues see it.
