Fair points. I just disagree. The Bruins thoroughly dominated game 1. I have no problem admitting this. Carey Price was out of his mind. In game 2 Bruins spent most of the game down. Montreal went into a defensive shell and it took a miraculous comeback and one of the worst bounces you will ever see on the Bergeron

I would disagree. Price was fantastic in the first game when he stopped close to 60 shots, but besides that? Bruins have had no traffic, had roughly 50% of their shots blocked, and have trailed for over 100 minutes of the series (while the Bruins have led a grand total of 11 minutes).

Yes, it's an assumption. A guess. While I hate ESPN, it does lend ccredibility to whatever is on TV.

What? So you need statistics to say someone played well? Did you watch the game?

He didn't play badly at all. Montreal still been the better team nearly all series, and by a significant amount.

I'd be curious to see how much better the ratings for the NHL would be if it was on ESPN. I'd expect a decent bump.

I had no idea who he was until I saw a picture included with the RIP. Whoops.

Haven't seen either.

I don't know...chances to make a few million, maybe over the course of a 10 year career, seems like any sane and smart person could cool it for a few weeks/months. He's still an idiot, whether he smoked this weekend or a month ago.

Oh jesus, enough.

Montreal has a good team, they usually do. Frustration has nothing to do with it.

Thanks man! I don't mean to play victim (obviously, we are not) - but I do (for the most part) love my city and I think 99% of the fans are truly awesome. I just hate the idea that Boston gets an inordinate amount of shit for this kind of stuff. Obviously most in NY aren't racists, and the same with Detroit. Its just

Whoops, that was from ANOTHER night.

Here you are sir:

Yep, people just blatantly making stuff up. I don't hate you for it. Just obnoxious.

There were plenty of tweets and slurs hurled at Simmonds after he had a hat trick less than a week ago. A fan of the Red Wings threw a banana on the ice at Simmonds during an exhibition game. You don't hear about it because its doesn't fit the narrative of "Boston is the most racist city in America".

What?

Stop making it simply a Boston thing. It happened, literally, less than a week ago when Wayne Simmonds (who is black) had a hat trick against the Rangers.

Grabbed? Smashed his head? Joking right? HAHAHA, right?

Please take this article down...I still hurt.
