Oh man, I had a good laugh there.

Bashcraft, you’re not reporting about the shocking news of Arashi’s hiatus announcement? Even Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary made a comment about the announcement.
Didn’t read everything because too long, but I can somewhat envision what the game feels like from what I read. More convoluted stuffs, gameplay beats that plays like the previous games, simple fun yet at times annoying.
The only franchise where you can see FF characters and Disney characters work together to defeat evil (original villains + Disney villains).
Even if they wanted to go with the bloodline requirement plot, they should have incorporated it the main game, from the start. Not shoving it in suddenly and forcefully in a DLC. For example, give players the ability to choose who Kassandra’s /Alexios’ spouse is.
Applause for Ubisoft for owning up their mistake and trying to fix it. Make it a learning point, you can’t make a roleplaying game with choices and then suddenly trample all over it for the sake of tying things up “nicely”.
Just picked up Kingdom Come Deliverance from a PSN sale last weekend so I’ll be playing that. I'm still trying to grasp what the battle system is all about.
Maybe. But the fact that Ubi basically trampled over the player’s choice of romantic partner/sexual encounter/whathaveyou, which includes denying people who have been playing as a non-hetero, it’s really easy to jump into that conclusion.
Honestly, Ubisoft should have seen this backlash coming from a hundred miles away. I don’t understand why they didn’t.
Same. I got the Gold Edition, but now after this I’m not sure if I’ll ever play the DLC contents.
Fair point.
I thought we’re exploring Kassandra’s/Alexios’ memories via whatever DNA material is left on the broken spear? Why do they have to force this kind of important decision after so heavily promoting that the game is “our own” odyssey?
There’s an entire questline for the mythical creatures and like the other guy said, it’s still way ahead of you if you’re only level 26.
I just finished the game with all pillars of the main questlines done, 95% of all sidequests done, but still plenty of locations left untouched. Level 56, 120 hours. I was only 1 or 2 levels behind the area level but only at the beginning. Past the midpoint of he game, the area and quest levels are playing catch up…
Sooo it’s not just browser game but you also have to go to Yahoo to play it?
I’ve played Yakuza Ishin and yeah, that is absolutely the reason.
My body is ready (but my wallet is not).
Games like Zelda I can understand because they’re not the most story-heavy of games, but games like Dragon Quest will benefit immensely from having a good voice acting.
I honestly don’t get why the game was originally released with no voice acting at all in Japan. A mainline big-name RPG with no voice acting? Just why.
Still in AC: Odyssey. I just got to the Atlantis thingy and seeing all those mythical monster quests that I’ve found suddenly obtained a new header in the quest list (and a new context) feels sooo good. Not to mention the “reunite the family” theme turned out to be not just Kassandra’s personal problem anymore.
