I actually only knew about that abomination when I was searching for an image for the post above. I can imagine the designer must be some ancient people with zero knowledge of the current design trend inside the event’s committee.

While we’re talking about sports event mascots, allow me to brag a little and share with you the mascots for 2018 Asian Games. Which will be held in Indonesia this summer.

I agree with you for the non-existent sense of urgency or even lack of plot, but the characters? I think they’re the most interesting, most well-written in the whole series.

And don’t forget the dance with your LI at the end.

Hey Tim, just an idea, instead of analyzing just a single game in this manner, maybe you can expand this to a bunch of other Japanese games?

Oh my god stop.

Same!

I’m cursed with hands that are always sweaty 50% of my waking hours, maybe even more when I’m gaming, because of nerves.

Speaking of cats, I’m convinced that the stray cats ruling over the street where I live have evolved into something else I’ve never seen before.

It... is? Woops.

Still quite a long way to go. You’re still inching day by day until the end of the year in-game.

It’s a 3 day-weekend here due to the Lunar New Year, which I will occupy with shoving festive foods down my throat, and playing Horizon Zero Dawn.

Goddamn yes.

I must have missed the news.

It’s going to be released for PS4, PSVita and... Switch?

I played this game until about halfway, when the protag has gone through so many time jumps that I can’t keep track of it anymore (despite the handy chart). I also can’t tell the level my characters should be at a point, due to the many jumps.

That’s good, but don’t force yourself if you feel it’s not fun anymore to continue. The game’s too big of a time investment to spend on choices you don’t feel right.

It never fails to amaze me how the Yen vs Triss debacle is still able to drum up such passionate argument, a couple of years down the road from the game release.

Horizon Zero Dawn, after it finishes downloading itself though.

FFXV has a lot of things to do that it’s overwhelming?
