I’m sure there’s always someone asking this question for every new game that is a sequel/has predecessors, but can I play and understand this if I’ve never played any MGS game before?

Mmm, this was my introduction to Japanese ska music. Also a soundtrack to one of the better teenage love/time travel TV drama series, Proposal Daisakusen.

Personally I think it would be better if there’s a third option there which allows Geralt to say that he has someone else now or something that doesn’t make his relationship with Yen all this time a fake one. Hmm...

I take it you’re talking about how we can interpret Geralt’s behavior as the result of the djinn’s influence? That is the only explanation I can offer myself to make sense of it, but I can’t help feeling it’s rather... cheap. Same with how Geralt dumped Yen in that quest by saying he felt nothing for Yen now that

And don’t forget how Geralt seemed to automatically flirt with Yen (especially in Skellige) regardless of what choice you make in the conversations, even when he’s supposed to be already “locked in” with Triss. Tsk tsk.

Agreed with how individual characters are the true highlight of this game/series. The amount of clamoring and devotion shown by some people to defend some characters still make me shake my head in astonishment to this day.

Seconding what Richard said.

You can never have too many of these.

When it comes to Spitz, this one’s obligatory: (title is Robinson btw)

Well, well, there goes all my interest and the chance of going to see this in a local cinema. I have a feeling that the actors/actresses (or even the director) may not have a good grasp about the source material, the characters, etc. Or the writer botched everything so badly that they stopped trying to do so.

I’d say it’s a straight up VN. There’s a bit of “gameplay” where you choose responses to emails sent by the other characters to the main character’s mobile phone, but other than that it’s just going through text walls. There’s no puzzles like in VLR.

Cerys, you’re badass but could you please stop insinuating that my Geralt is with Yennefer? Because he’s not. The lack of reactivity from in-game characters if Geralt is with Triss as opposed to Yennefer is so glaring and quite annoying . I still believe in CDPR though and am waiting to see how the promised fixes

Wow, so they’re moving this kind of stuffs into anime territory too. There are plenty of materials similar to these in audio form sold in CDs in Japan. Being recorded with 3D dummy head mics, they can achieve some amazing quality materials (albeit maybe a bit creepy for some people). A sample here, from a series where

Finished the first playthrough in about 120 hours. Some things in the game made me decide to not return until the “enhanced edition” get released, but 1.07 managed to broke my will.

*WARNING! light spoilers*

The vocalist’s voice is the one of those types that makes my ears itch but I have to admit the song’s super catchy.

This is the worst news to wake up to. I literally can’t stop crying. I’ll probably sleep clutching my 3DS tonight. Thank you for everything, Iwata-san. Your memory lives forever.

lol I think it wasn’t too bad, just a tad too rushed. Season 1 length was perfect.

What was in the epilogue was great, I just feel like they should have added... something. It just feels incomplete. Same with the slides, there wasn’t any explanations about what happened to some important characters and issues inside the world. What has become of the Lodge? The mages and non-humans in general? We

Ah, good for you. I feel that the way they concluded the Wild Hunt’s defeat and the epilogues were also a bit underwhelming. Those points may not be revised but at least they’ll try to fix the Triss one. I agree with your point though, I spent around 120 hours to finish the first playthrough myself and I doubt I’ll do
