They’re cut from the same cloth. Cuomo apparently didn’t endorse Barbara Buono in 2013 when she was running against Christie. Christie returned the favor in 2014 and wouldn’t support Rob Astorino who was running against Cuomo and he was Chairman of the Republican Governors Association. It was his job!

UGH. I don’t love BdB, but the way that Cuomo seems to go out of his way to make the mayor’s job more difficult pisses me off. The Chelsea incident was a textbook example - refused to hold a press conference with the mayor, held one instead the next day (with a few glamour shots of him authoritatively striding down…

They don’t really have a choice. (I’m an ex-pat Brit here in the US) They foolishly put it to the people for the vote and the vote was leave. To the surprise of many. And proving that ‘protest votes’ do not work. Or rather they work only in opposition’s favor.
