I’m completely confused by The Office being suggested above, that would be part of my “Worst Ever Final Season” list, and fairly nearly the top of it as well.

“It’s the No. 2 show on TV. You don’t sneeze at it being No. 2 out of the three billion shows that are on TV.”
I’m both a little sad but also glad. It’s such a great show and I’d hate for it to get ... less great. Better to go out on top.
Now that was a good episode. Top quality B99, which this season has been ranging from okay to very good.
One of the many moments of the ep that got me was Barry’s very forced ‘Whaaaat?!’ to Sally when she’s sitting outside the drama class on the stairs telling him how she went to Sam’s hotel room. Funny because Hader is always funny in some regard no matter what, and also because it’s such a watered-down version of the…
Flying Lotus is a genius. I hope Hiro Murai directs more videos for him, “Never Catch Me” still knocks me out and I’ve seen it like 20 times.
The line after def got a good laugh from me...
btw, I love the fact that Villanelle hates smoking, lol. It was so random but it makes perfect sense.
Every time I finish watching an episode of Barry, I’m left wondering, “How in the hell does this work as a TV show?” If this series was in less capable hands, it would be a mess. The themes are uncomfortable, the narrative is tonally sporadic, and the production approach has to dramatically adjust for intimate scenes…
The best therapist scene in The Sopranos is when Carmela visits Dr. Krakower. She expects him to tell her some things to help her cope, and instead he tells her Tony is a monster and she needs to take what’s left of her kids and flee and never look back. She asks him if he expected her to actually do that, and he said…
Kind of weird to focus on memes, for what may arguably be Game of Thrones’ finest hour. Just as an episode, Hardhome catches you by surprise, coming out of nowhere in the second half. This is a clever change-up compared to the entire episode focus that big battles had normally been given with Blackwater and Watchers…
Hardhome is a top-3 episode of the show for me, just behind Reins of Castamere and Winds of Winter. The last 25-30 minutes of this episode are damn near perfect. Although Battle of the Bastards got close, to me this is still the pinnacle of GOT battle episodes and what the battle scenes in Season 8 should aspire to.
And here we come to the worst part of Season 5: The Dorne subplot.
It’s nice to know that even in the zombie apocalypse, the South still completely loses its shit in a snowstorm.
That suggests something of a reversal: Game Of Thrones isn’t just telling the rest of Martin’s story before he can finish it himself; the show is doing it better than he could.
“JUST GIMME A DOG, MAN! ...and make it a real badass one.”
“The version you’re shown has nothing to do with gender, ethnicity, or sexual identity — info we don’t even have in the first place,”
Flying Lotus was the DJ, right?
“‘Lydia will walk with us again or they will all goarugh graggle draghlh’”
