The way she raised her hands with the gala business earlier this season could be seen as a little Frey-esque, now that you mention it.

I fucking lost it when Paige asked for a beer. Paige's costuming, makeup, etc. in that scene was extremely "teen trying to be grown-up", which fits with her cooking dinner and everything. I think we're due for some major movement in Paige's arc - she's kind of taken a backseat the past couple of weeks with all the…
"…and it's not a problem, because I know the words to describe it" hit a little close to home for me. Whoof.
Now imagine if Ian McShane had been on HBO-Justified.
The other way around, IMO. At least those characters have distinguishing features and personalities. Sure, a lot of them are basically stock RPG character classes, but at least it's something! The only decent characters in this show are Daniel, Strand, and Nick.
So are they just trying to leave no one in charge of Dorne so they take Dany by default when she finally shows up? Who rules now, Ellaria? I know they like to play up Dorne as "progressive" but I don't think even Dorne is too chill about having a bastard ruling the kingdom. If this is where the writers were going, I…
Makes sense given that the new office is a dead ringer for Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.
Michael Shannon as Aeron Damphair please. He'd have just the right flavor of craziness.
This aggression WILL NOT STAND, Walder!
They really missed out not casting him as Night's King.
Well, mixed feelings. This season has been pretty underwhelming and borderline grating at times (looking at you, Yidu and Harbard round 2), but this episode was about as good a conclusion as could be hoped for. Little to no fucking around, and cleared the decks admirably for the next half.
Re: the pursuing ship being dragged out all season, I'd say the chances are very good. They'll finally catch up when our heroes inevitably wreck the yacht in some inane way, and then:
Prometheus was not a good movie, but it was pretty cool in 3D. Haven't felt the need to watch it since, but it was the first movie that really convinced me that 3D could be more than a gimmick.
Hah, you live in a state with state income tax? Nerd!
I'm like 90% sure Ian McKellen IS Gandalf in real life, so him.
Almost every role was in that series. Come on, Maggie Smith as McGonagall? Nobody's ever topping that.
Minecraft. I don't have the patience to gather materials and go through the tedium of building, but I love seeing the crazy shit other people create.
Probably not the right place to have this fight, but here goes:
Please don't do that to Idris Elba. He deserves better.
That's charitable of you. I fear (heh) that it may be closer to their "farm". I mean, Strand = Hershel more or less. Has some type of secret, offers a seemingly idyllic shelter to spend a whole season on while the characters "develop"/bicker about inane bullshit.
