The facebook chat sound freaked me out, I actually paused and went to the Facebook tab I had open, only to find I hadn't gotten anything. I guess it was a joke but I'm not sure that one quite landed for me.

Things I Wanted More Of:
-Buster
-Lucille
-Bluth family dynamic/interactions
-New jokes (and jokes in general)
-Linear storytelling
-Resolution
Pretty much what I thought, though I enjoyed it enough to boost it up to a B+. Not as good as the original, but not that bad.
One of the reviews on here that I've disagreed with most, short of a few Dexter or Walking Dead episodes that get way too much slack.
Also, Feast/Dance each taking a season and not starting next season would make Dany absolutely intolerable. Can you imagine three seasons of her sitting in Mereen?
1: Game
2: Clash
3: Storm through Red Wedding, approximately
4: Rest of Storm and parts of Feast/Dance (whatever characters' plotlines are relatively independent of the rest of the world - maybe the Ironborn?)
5: Remainder of Feast/Dance
6: Winds
7: Dream
My only problem with this episode was not getting to see the actual pitch for Chevy. Maybe the great pitch scenes are a little stale at this point, but I still love watching them.
I for one am intrigued by Gendry apparently standing in for Edric Storm. Compared to the books, the whole debacle and Davos' saving of (Gendry) becomes much more dramatic, since you're actually invested in the character.
Season 3 is the worst season. Season 4 on get much better. It is worth it to keep going. Don't skip episodes.
Yeah, Feast is very underrated IMO. It's got a more focused theme than almost all of them.
Also: reading the newbies comment board is really interesting and often hilarious, especially now as we're getting into the "shit gets real" phase of the book (and arguably series). Sometimes they're remarkably close - lots of people have essentially figured out the whole Theon deal, but people are wild with Stannis…
This show really gets the majority of the characters and arcs right, and I don't mind many of the changes, but fuck if they can't do the Stannis/Melisandre scenes right at all. I mean, I don't see why they have to make Stannis this pathetic psycho instead of his more dignified, badass self from the books. Maybe I'm…
5, 4, 2, 1, 3.
The Walking Dead is not the kind of show that can pull off not giving us the final showdown between the season-long villain and our hero in a season finale. I think I might actually be done with this show, finally.
