I agree with you on that point.

FIY: I live in London.

THIS! THANK YOU!

I love ‘Love Actually’ and re-watching it makes me discover ever more nuances. for example, I didn’t realise how dramatic it was and how badly it ended for some until I was older.

Why is everyone always so hung up on racial diversity? I HATE it when the force ethnically different characters into a film ensemble just to tick a box, e.g. with a dark-skinned Valkyry in the lates ‘Thor’. If it’s a film about Vikings, all characters should be white and redheaded / blond. If it’s a film about

I’m not sure you understand the concept of a prototype.

Even as a child, I did not understand why they even manufacture cars that can go that fast. It seemed the most simple and logical thing to construct cars that simply could not go faster than the speed limit (every car has a limited speed. They can’t go inifinely fast, so why can’t that hardware limit be at 75 mph?).

The more electronics your car has, the more likely it is to develop a fault. The less electronics, the better.

I thought Range Rover was a brand for rich snobs anyway? I’m a Toyota driver myself, so am not surprised.

How about having babies? Are you saying I should go for single parenthood?

Put the pieces into a little organza jewellry bag. Problem solved. Now you can use up every last particle of soap.

I’ve always hated liquid soap. It makes you hands feels ticky instead of clean and takes absolute ages to scrub off. On top of that, it does not seem to clean NEARLY as well as a bar of soap.

Was planning on seeing both ‘Mary Shelley’ and ‘The Happy Prince’. Not so sure now... Then again, saw 50 Shades III and it wasn’t all that horrible. Not great by a long shot and definitely the weakest in the series, but not as abhorrent as critics claim it was.

Word! I never had a tumblr account, but I used it a lot. That got more difficult when they introduced a feature that required you to log in for some stuff, but I still visited the site occasionally. Now, I will not.

Thanks! I put the same comment in further up before I read this.

It’s because our genom is fluid. The phenomenon is called ‘epigenetics’. There are some predispositions inscribed in our gens that only become relevant under certain environmental circumstances. Gluten intolerance and even coeliac disease are two of those. Nobody can reliably predict when or how these may manifest in

Unqualified comments like this put lives in danger. Yes, most people reacting to gluten do so because they suffer from an autoimmune disease called ‘coeliac disease’, but it is absolutely possible to be just plain allergic to gluten, too. I won’t go into the antibody systems involved and what the difference is, but I

I have all four as fully formed teeth. Sure, it’s a tight squeeze, but no dentist I ever saw (and I’ve been to many) has EVER recommended removing them. the policy here in EU seems to be to only take them out if they cause issues. Indeed, having fully formed wisdom teeth is an advantage: if you lose a molar, they can

Wow, what nonsense! Dogs have evolved to eat the scraps humans leave so guess what? It’s a great idea to feed the dog what the rest of the family is getting. Who gets the crazy idea to cook separately for them??? Complete waste of time and money. Just make sure you don’t add too much salt or hot chili to the family

Woah, this is incredible. The work that WETA do is magic. On the downside: you can’t believe ANYTHING you see on a screen these day.
