The responses to this thread all seem to be telling on themselves. Did anyone here ever meet a black person in the 80's or since? I think one person mentioned Prince and no one mentioned Michael Jackson. How can you have any discussion of pop music in the 80's without even mentioning the most successful pop artist of

About 15 years ago, in my early 20's, The Power of Love was the final/pump-up song my flatmates and I would play, after pre-gaming at home, right before going out for a night on the town. It’s the best.

Barrett would be a better fit (and is likely the better player).

Bears are still gonna finish 7-9 my dude.

Come on comments section, someone must be able to figure out who the rude celebs are in her stories, right?

Yeah, I lean towards 400/10, with opt out after year three.

By any measure? Doncic is scoring more, which is one measure..

Uhh, not sure what you are watching. He’s basically Cutler with a weak arm.

Exhibit A is the big white doofus my Bears TRADED UP to acquire. He has (and at the time of the draft was known to have) all of the same downsides as Mahomes, with none of the upside. And yet...here we are with poor man’s Rex Grossman for the next decade.

Floyd Mayweather should absolutely be on the boring athlete list. He is unquestionable one of the all time greats, but his style is basically anti-boxing. He turns every fight into a slow, inevitable wearing down until he knows he has enough points for the decision. Then he just sits back for however many rounds are

I’m actually fine with charitable giving drying up. A huge chunk of it is not really beneficial in any broad sense (for example the billions of dollars donated to university endowments), and a lot of the other more undeniably important work should be done collectively and pid for collectively through taxes anyway

Except a couple of teenagers could hack that national computer system in about 15 minutes.

Or you could just make the problem irrelevant by going to ranked voting and multi-member districts. That is the real answer, but it’s a harder political push because it would also allow for more than 2 political parties to be viable.

Wait, did the Kings do something good? That is more confusing to me than any of those magic tricks.

Someone please put me in charge of PSG. Send Neymar to Man U for Pogba plus, say 50M pounds. Drop that money, plus a bit more on Atl. Madrid for Griezmann. Let Pogba, Griezmann, and Mbappe play together year round for PSG, just like the German team de facto played for Bayern. Watch PSG win titles and be

What the heck is medium plus? The step between medium and well-done is medium well, just like the step between medium and rare is medium rare.

The Bears play the Packers this Sunday, September 9th. The live Deadcast is not next Monday, the 10th, but the following Monday, September 17th.

Eh, I’d guess that there are more people, probably by a factor of 10 if not 100, who can explain zone blitz schemes and jet sweeps than there are people who can competently host a panel discussion on tv. Facilitating a conversation is hard, being good on tv is a skill, doing both at the same time is very hard.

Same, but I use finely diced shallots instead of onion for a slightly milder allium taste.

That’s more big hips than big butt. Wide across, but relatively flat.
