Lol, I love how the Ranger owner just walks away. "That's it. I give up. I'm walking!"

BTW, Lol @ the FF6 music.
@MarkVictorArnold: Indeed.
Great post. I can remember ending up at Jalopnik once in while over the past several years, but I never stayed long enough to realize how cool it was or how often it was updated. It wasn't until earlier this year, when I was specifically looking for something to test out "this whole RSS thing I've been playing around…
Two syllables. It's a person's actual, proper name. You just can't change that and be correct. Jonny Lieber?
Nothing like a good ol' faux-starlight ceiling.
@Serolf Divad: Perhaps Hyundai will lop the roof off the new Genesis Coupé?
Wert, you should come up with a very Jalopnik-tainted Top Ten list for the TV. Something like "Top Ten cars of 2008 with more than 500 horsepower;" "Top Ten old cars which were never cool but, strangely, suddenly became so in 2008;" "Top Ten cars of 2008 that would be much better if they had pop-up headlights;" etc.
Lovely! I've never seen one of these actually being used. Man, sometimes I wish I lived in California. Sometimes.
Hmm. Not bad. A bit hairdresser, perhaps, but not bad.
@pauln: Haha, no problem - I just always have to win arguments, lol!
@pauln: I'll suggest you correct Wikipedia ([en.wikipedia.org]) and Denis Duquet's Auto Guide 87 (ISBN: 0-88902-939-3) then! ;)
@SavageATL: Quite sure the VW Fox was a longitudinal-engined front-driver as well :)
@Larry Forney: Say, that kind of looks like Gordon Murray...
@LTDScott: Awesome, thanks :)
@LTDScott: WOOooo! Where'd you get that?
OK, who can be the first to name the taillight in the Taillight Ruiners logo?
@rusty68: Because it allows for a centrally-mounted (between the two sides, not central between the two ends) gearbox, which means equal-length axle shafts. Transverse engine mountings end up with the gearbox off to one side, meaning one axle shaft is longer than the other, and is slightly harder to spin.
F1. Better looking, far lighter, and with three pedals.
Perhaps the old guy stalled and laughed, thinking, "I haven't done that in years!"
