While I'm never really one to go "whoo" to any large company winning a lawsuit. I am happy that this sets legal precedent that hack and aimbot creators do damage to the game by giving people an unfair advantage so it will now be easier for other developers to come after aimbot and hack makers

That’s nice. The merger still shouldn’t be approved though.

There are multiple reasons. It’s more comfortable, it’s less customisation, I don’t need to look at recommended specs and cry online when a game is beyond my hardware.

Weird, I’m pretty sure I did see a lot of people speaking up about Atomic Heart, probably a bit easier to miss with all the stuff about the game based on the books by the billionaire terf who funds movements that do also in fact want to genocide trans people

“Russian developer operating in Russia”.

These “how do you explain this” bits of your post are you just not understanding/lying.

It’s because “real” gamerz want this game and don’t give a damn about Harry Potter. I mean, granted, it looks cool.

First of all, don’t say “Transgenders”

Literally funding a war of aggression in Ukraine is a little bit more than just ‘problematic’ I would say.

Dude, I haven’t even *heard* of this game before. Hogwarts Legacy rides on an IP that influenced millions and has an enormous baked-in audience that have cared about it and what its creator has to say. Atomic Heart has, uh, none of that. Of course discussion around it ain’t of the same magnitude.

Yeah if I have the choice of speaking out against the Russian government while living there and getting possibly 15 years for it verses just taking some hate from some randos on Twitter I will chose the hate and sleep in my own house vs a Russian prison.

Easy for you to say when your life and livelihood is not on the line like it would be for a Russian to speak out against the war. Not sayings its right but it makes sense.

Smooth Brain takes... Imagine being a Russian IN RUSSIA and then denouncing the war when they literally imprison you for that (or do much worse things). People can’t read between the lines these days, everything is black and white and there is no room for grey.

How exactly does this game get “a pass” when there was enough controversy that the composer donated his entire salary to charity?

Is your argument that unless you can talk about all problematic things you can’t talk about one problematic thing without it seeming odd that you’re not talking about all the other problematic things?

What a silly comment. There's as much reason to own a PS5 as there is to own a gaming PC, especially considering how much cheaper a PS5 is.

I think the real reason why the new Zelda is 70 while the other games are not, is because Nintendo knows they can get away with it. Zelda is going to do big numbers regardless, while Pikmin and a remake of a Metroid gamecube game wouldn’t be able to get away with it so easily. Now if the next mainline Pokemon game is

On the flip side, inflation has outpaced wage increases greatly.

“I don’t think they fully appreciate that it’s a free-to-play business, that the Japanese and Chinese companies dominate the industry.”

You’ll forgive me for not giving a single goddamn fuck about what the Grammys think of anything, when they gifted an utter bigot an award last night.
