People wear watches since watches. A high-end, handcrafted watch is a symbol of wealth and status. In the business world, a watch like this would be very desirable for CEOs and senior sales staff.
It goes in the same category as handmade silk ties, bespoke shirts and suits, platinum cuff links and diamond tie tacks.
I worked for them for a short time from ‘04 to ‘05. In Calabasas, at least, half the company was constanly working on the WWE games, which left the other half of the company to work on everything else.
Even with that, they put out some good titles. The MX and MX vs. ATV games were solid racers. Destroy All Humans was…
Forgot to mention this “fun” new “twist”: Collision has been tightened on some of the Mon. It’s now possible to throw Pokeballs right next to a Pidgey or Spearow.
The worst offender is Goldeen. I’ve seen Pokeballs pass straight through the back of these. Either hit them in the face, or the Pokeball doesn’t register.
Level 23 here. From what I’ve seen, “Great,” “Nice” and “Excellent” catches do nothing except make you mad when a CP 89 pokemon busts out of the ball and you watch your bonus XP disappear, along with the pokemon.
Five pokeballs thrown at a Level 62 Pidgey last night, before the Pidgey ran away. Yes, since the Saturday update, catching is much harder.
Hey, now. Kennedy was one of the finest orators of the 20th century. It’s not his fault that the Boston accent really comes out when Bostonians get shouty.
I’d be happy if every last one of these candidates would stop yelling.* The damn microphone is RIGHT THERE. We have 21st century amplification that doesn’t distort…
Have you seen the defensive stats of Articuno? They’re the best in the game. Plus the type advantages only hit for 1.2 damage. Lapras does well defensively against Vaporeon with 80% of Articuno’s defense stat. Poliwrath and Blastoise should be able to withstand attacks from higher-level Vaporeons as well, based on…
Masshole here. We’re drowining in Drowzee as well. I haven’t seen a single Doduo or Diglett anywhere.
It takes a ton of Stardust to power up Vaporeon (I’m looking at my Level 20 right now, who wants 2,500 Stardust to reach max CP). Plus, given the six-on-one nature of gym battles, any Level 15 player can take out a high-level Vaporeon with the right type matches against water. It’s actually better for defense than…
Based on what I’ve seen at a local park, I’ve got a theory that stronger Pokemon show up when there are a lot of people in an area with lures.
My nearby park is typically great for Magikarp, Poliwags and Clefairys. When it gets really busy (50+ people) we start seeing Charmander, Pikachu and Squirtle.
On one night last…
That’s some real nice Saul Bass influence in that poster right there.
Earthbound. Ness is from Earthbound. Or Mother, if you prefer. That could have slipped by if you didn’t try to drop Pokemon references like a pro.
If they’re smart about it (and they’re likely not), they’ll design new consoles to have swappable components, inlcuding RAM and GPUs. I think most console owners (myself included) wouldn’t mind buying and swapping out a GPU every couple of years rather than buying an entirely new console.
Millennials are so cute when they try to talk about the 1980s like they know what was going on. Here’s some actual context from someone who was there.
Soooooooo...are they going to actually fix the bug that causes Nick Valentine to disappear from the game, or are people going to drop $25 on this only to find out they need to start over?
Not a problem for PC gamers, but a big concern if you’ve hit this bug on console.
I’ve actually managed to get Marcy to lighten up. She said something along the lines of, “It’s brutal out here but it’s getting better,” when I talked to her last night.
I’ve got her in Sanctuary, population 23, with the following:
There’s only about three hours of story in Automatron. It’s not deep, but there’s some good Fallout storytelling along the way that gives a lot of insight into the Robobrains. If you’re the type to blast through an area and skip all the terminals and surroundings, you can easily miss it and knock down the DLC in an…
