@digitmint: The windows start menu search? Honestly, I haven't found anything that could quite compare with Launchy. I've had to stick with Launchy though because the windows search takes about 5 secs to display the results, which is 5 secs to many. I'm hoping that the dev will start working on it again soon. And if

@927emptyU: Disposable huh? Do you know of this one:

Anyone else just hear about the ACTA? Apparently it will be ready by 2010

Have they updated it for Windows 7 yet? I've previously installed it and after 1-10 min I get a bsod. The error report wasn't very useful neither. I believe it was something about Shadow Copy. #streamingmedia

I skip ads when I remember to do so. Sometimes I think I forget that I'm in the present watching the past. Maybe I should practice fingering the fast forward button at all times #tv

@Poop Cooper: I wish. Canada. The land of stupidity. I've only heard good things about Spotify and I've tried a few times to find a proxy to sign up but so far no luck. Here's hoping it doesn't take years to release it worldwide. Either that or a smart cookie makes a similar program in Canada #searchengines

@ThaMofo: I haven't had it happen to me since I switched from Vista, but I wouldn't count on it having been eliminated. Most likely, it'll show it's ugly ass again on different hardware setups #windows7

@1112: And yet, somehow, I still prefer launchy. Amazing. Maybe it's the plugins, or the simple calculator, or the instant map search.

@Raspop: For me it is. But I've heard other ppl say that the windows search is just as fast. So, if you want, try them both and see how you like it, they do pretty much the same thing. The only edge I give to Launchy is that it has plugins (though not as many as I would have hopped) I've gotten used to Launchy so

@1n73rn37_j3d1: You're one lucky bleeper my friend. I've had a bunch of freezes, crashes and even a few bsod. And yet, somehow, it's better then xp and vista. Good job M$ #windows7

@deanbmmv: I've had similar issues once in a while. If it doesn't fix itself after an hour, I would suggest uninstalling the driver and let the plug and play reinstall it for you. See what that gives you #windows7

@Yerzriknot: What do you expect? They're not going to take a step backwards just so it can run on decades old machines. #windows7

@Raspop: Though personally I don't use quicklaunch(or pin) anymore (launchy <3) I just tried out the Win + # thing you said with a pinned application and it seems to work quite nicely even with multiple instances of the same program open. Did you mean after reconfiguring the taskbar with quicklaunch again, the Win +
