About a decade or so ago (shortly after PS4 and Xbox One launched) I was a Gamestop employee. My first full non training day actually. I was told to go out and clean the window and door just before closing. As I was out there a guy ran up towards me with a gun and put it to my back and walked me inside the store. Kept

What do you mean, “paint?” An average is a concrete statistical quantity. That the average American’s waist size is about 40 inches is an objective fact.

That’s all well and good, but it’s still questionable to create the only ride in that section to exclude a massive portion of the population. Rides don’t just appear out of thin air, people designed it this way and scrutinizing decisions like this is fair game. Why couldn’t they make it a touch bigger? Even from a

Sorry couldn’t resist...

What about Watch Dogs 1 levels of ludonarrative dissonance? The game where you’re a hero vigilante who constantly spies on citizens and murders random thugs.

Great, more phishing schemes to look out for.

Who the hell do those ads even work on? Who goes, “Gee, I was just here to look up the name of an obscure Marvel character but sure, I’ll drop everything and watch this 7 minute unrelated auto-playing video listing the top five most cringe Star Wars droid fails.”

Fascists don’t want free speech; they never have. They want their speech, and nothing else. The “free speech” cries are just a smoke screen, proven by their constant conniptions and mass reporting of anything which upsets their super snowflake sensibilities.

Skull and Bones started life as a multiplayer-focused expansion for 2013’s excellent Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Most artists do not want to hear “look, I trained an AI on your drawings, potentially putting you out of work”.

Well what else is a guy supposed to do when his girlfriend doesn’t appreciate the air jordans he gave her but build a digital wife and then regift them???

They’re still not meant to be the same character though.

My kid was playing this game when it came out, and the first thing I said was “does the audio make sense when you’re playing? It’s a total mess where I’m sitting.”

Planning for every possible scenario before releasing a chat-like program is near impossible so most add the option to update the filters reactively.

Did you not watch the video?

I suspect that on the PS5 Returnal takes heavy advantage of the insanely fast storage and the GPU’s direct access to the SSD. While an NVMe SSD in a PC gets close, the SSD in the PS5 is still faster. To mimic the insanely fast SSD of the PS5 the game is loading more assets into RAM instead. The DirectStorage API in

16GB is what I’d recommend bare minimum if you’re broke as f***. 32GB is what I would have been recommending as early as 2016. 64GB is another story, though my primary desktop does have 64GB. I suppose the rest of you reading this and thinking “64GB?!? Why?!?” is about the same as I feel about people with 128GB.

TL:DR

I can see it actually. Returnal was a masterpiece of you are right back into the game instantly on a run loss with little to no loading at all.

I still remember $80 SNES cartridges, so the pricing doesn’t bother me at $70. If I know I’ll get that kind of value out of it, I’ll buy it. If not, I’ll wait for a sale.

“Elon Musk destroying Twitter” is gaming?
