Episode 1 is not very good. One thing in it that really rubbed me the wrong way is that Alyx is constantly praising every little thing you do, even though she was just right there with you for most of the crazy shit in HL2. It felt weird and fanservicey.

I don’t believe so. RCT2 has spooky-themed decorative items including a giant skeleton with a top hat, so I think the name Mr Bones was arrived at independently just based on the image of a skeleton with a top hat. Previous memes about the RCT2 story never mentioned this game afaik.
