Auto-stop/start is less of an annoyance where there are mostly roundabouts, like in Europe, so stopping at a light happens less often, which is the point (less emissions while idling. So it sucks for US market, I’m afraid.

Rent a really nice Volvo or Audi, you’ll see more of the beautiful country, catch no COVID or other cruise-related illnesses and almost no onboard brawls. Thank me later.

It’s short enough, consider the rear seats a shelf for your weekender bags. You’ll want the wheelbase for a comfortable ride. If it clocks in at 1.8 tons it will be a miracle. A Miata this ain’t after all.
Yup, as I said above. As an American living in Sweden almost 5yrs now, it has been a real education for me in terms of how taxes are spent. Here, you actually see where the money goes, so I’m more than happy to pay my fair share. The great American donut hole is just too far a gap to travail between being a regular…
Definitely the straight cash profiteering part. Very little of that cost goes back into roads, bridges, etc. in the US.
Man, I wish I could still get USA prices (after I moved) here in Sweden. Right now we’re clocking in at about 8 bucks a gallon. But to be fair, the economy and numbers work much different than they do in the states, and we have much better public transportation and infrastructure, so there’s that. RON 95 is (was)…
Prolly the comically low mileage. Best bet for my USA bros, get an A6 Allroad then add a Stage 2 Revo tune. You’ll be better off.

God help you on the insurance...unless you’re in Montana...
This IMO would be a 3rd or 4th car. I mean 60k (‘attainable’, but why) without considering your yearly fuel and speeding ticket costs are counterintuitive.
The floor for these cars should be 50 mpg minimum. At least equal to what diesels are doing conservatively, which I thought was the whole point.
All that tech for only 37mpg? Pfft, my modded ‘04 A4 Avant Quattro pulls +40mpg off boost.
I’ll just leave this here.
The Porsche comes outside only to find someone in its pool...
Zackly, it now stands to be even nastier and shittier...congrats people!
They both look tired, so very very tired...
Still funny 50 years on lol
If a car could facepalm™
