For me, it’s more “why only 2 hours?” Two hours seems arbitrary and really not an amount of time that really impacts anyone. Hell, I’ve spent more than an hour trying to get into a stable server before giving up... so 2 hours offline? Literally nothing.
Now let Rockstar say they are going to shut down the servers for…
And here I was just thinking how much this game lacks any sort of imbalanced game play.
Oh wait...
Oh, hey... just when I was wondering what streaming app to cut, Netflix makes it an easy choice! I have 3 Roku devices, 1 of which is on that list. I watch Netflix exclusively on that device because it doesn’t support a new version of the app and so is gloriously free from the auto-play previews.
Sounds like Netflix is…
Wedding photographer here. “You’ll just photoshop away [whatever they don’t like about themselves], right?” Every. Goddamn. Wedding.
This is baffling to me. So when good people get hurt what’s your justification then?
Hoping the man faces consequences for poor remarks or attitudes, or cheating on his wife is one thing. Chalking up a horrific accident to karma is just fucking demonic.
It’s almost as though they have a giant wheel of distractions that they spin to use as the excuse every time there’s a mass shooting. This week it landed on “Video Games.”
“He doesn’t have to. He needs to be true to his character.”
This. This right here is what is absolutely key. It’s fine — and possibly even narratively relevant and exciting — to have a character that doesn’t get it... as long as the film does.
I was having a conversation not that long ago with a friend about how…
The comment AOC made was literally about Ivanka. So.... ok?
The comment was clearly a jab at qualifications. And while I don’t disagree with AOC about Ivanka, the way she phrased it is pretty tone deaf to history.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wrote that “being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification.”
As much as I like AOC and loathe Ivanka, England’s system of rulership might beg to differ with this comment.
Let’s see your acting credentials. Oh, you’re just a keyboard warrior? Fuck you, then.
“Rewrite it with competent writers?!???”
You mean.... like wanting to burn her conquests to the ground in past episodes and being talked down by trusted advisors (who she no longer trusts)? Or maybe crucifying slavers, being told some of them were innocent and then basically shrugging her shoulders about it? Or maybe saying that she was interested in…
about a woman who, thus far, they have painted as a hero
100% this. Anyone who didn’t see this as the trajectory Dany was heading in really hasn’t been paying careful enough attention to her or the show this entire time.
His fall takes down and (as far as she can tell) kills the doofus she still kinda loves and relates to, the one dude in all of Westeros who still unquestioningly supported her claim to the throne.
My interpretation of the scene in Age of Ultron is not that Mjolnir judged Cap unworthy, but that Cap himself had doubts. He was, after all, still fairly new to the “future” and still a bit conflicted about his place in it.
It was a faulty plot with tons of fan service, all held together by a rat.
Funny thing is, I had an issue with an old vehicle of mine where it would intermittently fail to start. And it wasn’t showing any error codes, making it incredibly frustrating to diagnose — because, you know, it always decided to fire right up when I’d take it in.
