I loved the little touch of the letterboxing transitioning to full frame during the shootout to designate cut scenes from gameplay. The camera also more or less went to third person during that scene. Then back to letterbox after.
Brilliant.

I think part of the problem with this particular instance is that there is a LOT to unpack here. Chloe outlined some things that definitely at least skew towards abuse, if not fall right in... and she outlined some things that felt like trying to get closure from a shitty relationship with a shitty person.
Holy fuckity fuck sticks is this the most asinine interpretation of what actually happened that I’ve read so far.
I would pay good money for those auto play trailers to die in a fire. A slow, painful fire.
As opposed to someone poor who would have gotten involved in a class action and seen maybe $27 while the legal team got rich? I’m not sure what point you’re making here.
My main concern is Han’s lone gunslinger archetype kind of fundamentally eschews backstory. He won his ship gambling? Cool! That’s what kind of guy he is. I don’t actually need to see it. Nor do I need to see the gold dice Luke grabbed in LAst Jedi that he’ll invariably hang in the cockpit.
The scene the most clearly shows the fundamental problem with the prequels is when Yoda fights Count Dooku in Attack of the Clones. Why bring this up? Stick with me a minute...
Do you know what a character is that doesn’t change in 40 years?
I actually think you’ve got the wrong best scene. For me, the best scene in the entire movie.... maybe *ANY* action genre movie... is when Aurelio’s phone rings and Viggo starts off the conversation with “I heard you struck my son. May I ask why?”
We know this guy is a Russian mafia boss. And we know Aurelio is scared…
I just don’t know how many folks will be able to manage that with the progression system also pushing down on them.
A major problem with the previous Battlefront was exactly this. Only except for characters, it was weapons and upgrades. People who were willing to grind were rewarded with the most powerful blasters, etc. — which wouldn’t have been a problem, except the game was really lousy at pairing similarly leveled players.

Super cool bit of trivia... but I can’t be the only one distracted by the suggestive shape and placement of that dagger...
The reason your comment comes off as ignorant is because there’s more to it than just looking up the solution online.
I am a white male. As such, I am the epitome of privilege. I don’t pretend otherwise. And yet, I care about the world around me and the well being of others. This article hit home with me because I have been struggling with my decision to alienate myself from my father, stepmother, and my half bother and sister…
Good call. We just watch boxing, UFC and the NFL
The reason it’s not a fair conversation is because no one is going up to something like Mt. Rushmore, saluting it, and using it as a rallying point and recruitment tool for hate groups.
Ancient Rome made slaves fight to the death, but no one today goes to the Colosseum to hold rallies to bring back gladiatorial combat.

As a dog owner who hates dealing with ticks and fleas, my rebuttal to this is.... MOW THE DAMN LAWN. Mowing frequently and diligently removing leaves and long weeds will significantly reduce the likelihood of your pet picking up a nasty critter.
Can we be better and not steal things, then run, and then act in a manner that appears to be shooting back at the cops, forcing them to defend themselves?
First, to be clear: This. Should. Not. Have. Happened.
First thing I thought of when I heard the premise of this movie was: “This is awful, not because one person wakes up another, dooming them, but because Hollywood is going to miss the point and try to spin this as a happy ending love story.”
