The proportions just look...wrong to me. I would be very interested in a version with a bit shorter cab and a bit longer bed. Not a full on single cab, but maybe a 2 door crew cab.

2nd Gear: “It’s very unusual for federal policy to single out one company for different treatment than another company,”

Lol what? Tell that to the bank or auto bailouts. Sweetheart contracts. The list goes on forever.

I really like this system, have been planning to do something similar to one of my MR2's as an experiment. Putting two motors and some batteries up front to help with acceleration and balance.

As a connoisseur of shitty 80's cars, I can absolutely agree. I have mostly owned GM’s and Toyota’s of that era, The interiors and ride quality of my Corolla, MR2, Cressida, Starlet, Civic. and Supra are all FAR better than the Chevette, Cutlass, and Eldorado I have owned.

If they are behaving in a manner that is actively detrimental and predatory to the majority of Americans then maybe we should stop giving them so much taxpayer incentive. Like you said, they are not our personal friends and do not deserve taxpayer subsidy.

It’s more a case of budget over-run than anything. They did much better when they were operating on a shoestring, all the Bezo-Bucks they got made them over-produce the show a little.

They ended that gimmick with the second season and changed it to two celebrities that are only tangentially related in some humorous manner competing for the best track time. It works much better

You deserve several more stars

Yeah, that show started out weak but now I can very comfortably say it is better than UK top gear has been for a long time.

That is the best part though.

Politicians: With these tax cuts GM will increase wages and hire more. Everybody wins!

GM: We are absolutely not doing any of that, we plan to pocket the cash

*GM pockets the cash*

Politicians: Who could have possibly seen this coming!?! GM lied!

Traffic fatalities rose in Montana when they implemented a speed limit. Speed limits themselves do absolutely nothing to promote safety.

My ex wife had an Aerio SX that I wanted to buy from her bad after the divorce. She ended up trading the broken POS for like 200 dollars towards a Subaru instead of selling it to me for 500 out of spite. Would have been a perfect rally nugget.

3k for a boring, underpowered convertible with 200k miles and no rebuild? The 2 point slow is a shit engine, and it will need to be replaced soon. CP all day at 3 grand, decent at 2 grand, but still not for me.

Except you missed the part about how the banks borrow money from the government (taxpayers) at 0 percent, then turn around and offer it back to taxpayers with exorbitant interest. They are essentially given a license to make risk free money for themselves and fuck everyone else. If it was their money they were

A very simple barcode sticker based check in/check out system could be implemented extremely cheaply and easily. Maybe a few hundred tops to get someone to develop the back end for it. I am a shit programmer and could knock something functional together in a few hours.

I am not interested in this engine in a truck, what I AM interested in is using it as an overpowered, undersized powerplant for restomodding small cars.

Look at that engine. Does that look easy to work on?

My Tacoma has the 2.7 4 cylinder, which I regularly push harder than it was probably designed for. When you think about it though, my modern little 2.7 4 cylinder puts out more torque and horsepower than a 80's v6 and even some V8's. I do wish it got better fuel efficiency though

They are rather attractive too in a basic utilitarian sort of way. I really miss mine.

I used to own a chevette, fantastic little car. I am surprised more people do not try and find them to modify. They are a cheap RWD hatchback with an oversized engine bay. Put a LS in it and make the most absurd drift car.
