@tande04: i can see it being easier for Apple to change the bands on existing hardware than fit a whole new type of radio in it.

this would be an excellent opportunity for Apple to introduced a "new and Improved design" AKA internal antenna.

Does it have a 3.5mm line-in jack for external microphones? I don't see a point in HD video if I can't get better sound too.

The more choices, the better. That said, I doubt that Apple will choose T-Mobile as its second carrier in the US. It would make more sense to go to Verizon since the company has more customers and sells some of the best iPhone competitors. I figure that a Verizon iPhone could reduce the amount of people switching to

@Slinkytech: you should re read it. 11FPS for camera shots. not video.

@nobledansavage: haven't experienced those issues before. perhaps your battery is defective.

@SeraphX2: friction? space? are you sure about that?

@fury161: hardly. i can understand someone not liking the phone for numerous reasons.

@starkbeats004: i brought up the bars to say they were meaningless.

@Drummertist: have you used one? because i kinda doubt it.

    great!

@starkbeats004: did you watch that video? because he basically deleted it. (red box covering the video saying it has no problems)

@starkbeats004: anecdotal evidence is "OMG the signal dropped 3 bars!"

@starkbeats004: but it doesn't. my DroidX has none of these problems. i even checked it, maximum DB drop was 7. and i'm not in an awesome signal area either. (-83DB when sitting on a desk)

@Stevox: First off, I agree with your sentiments that this antenna issue is being blown out of proportion by both the media and users alike. It seems that only a small percentage of devices are actually exhibiting the symptoms being fervently described in every blog and newspaper.
