@immafattie: I wanted to promote your comment, but then seeing you have star already.

I'd rather take it as a parody or satirical game on how cheap and generic yet popular FPS games are these days. Guns, shootings, explosions, dudes sold.

I always buy it used directly from other gamers. Way to avoid corporate rip-off.

Pirates will always pirate. That's all I have to say.

As much as I think FFXIII is quite mediocre, just give it a rest. No use repeating the same thing over and over again.

Maybe because of my job which constantly involves conflict in Africa, I can really relate to what the article's talking about.

Ys series(actually all falcom games) have the one of the best soundtracks in video game series. Even for people who don't play the games who at least listen to the music. It's purely amazing, especially if you like rock/metal music.

Meh, at this point, the game looks pretty generic. Nowadays, anything about a game is hype, hype and hype.

The 3rd game will be a science fictional military shooter with human story and a lot of emotional engagement. It will be mature and morally gray. The system will be more streamlined that players don't have to worry about equipment and skills as the AI will automatically make the best decision for you. All you have to

I have to admit the choice of music is really awesome. But I'd prefer to see actual gameplay as nowadays, in a world where games awlays tend to be "cinematic", CG rendered trailer really can't prove anything. There are enough examples of awesome blockbuster type of trailer which turn out to be really bad games.

@Gnarkiller: yeah but I don't live in Manhattan~ it takes me about 30 minutes to get to Manhattan by subway. Also I got out work pretty late~~~~

Ah, although I'm in NYC but why in Brooklyn -__- I'd definitely go if it's in Manhattan because it's kind of far from where I live.

If you look close, it seems she has mustache and beard, lol. But I'm more curious why is she wearing make up even out for an action-packed adventure?

Another war shooters, enough said. I'm growing tired of developers trying to find gimmick or hoax for shooters. Also it's quite unrealistic to expect a slow paced shooter to sell in a market nowadays where people just want to run and shoot. If it's slow, people might as well just call it boring.

@Kariodude: That's what you think probably. He did a perfect job there.

To be honest, this is hardly surprising, considering how easy it is to grab money from shooters. Maybe people just can't play any game without shooting anything nowadays.

Let the franchise die please. Use the resource on something else, maybe less profitable, but more inspirational ,original and yet not shallow.

@lucasway89: Imho, story of AC is really boring, accompanied by really tedious missions. The gameplay is fun at itself, but the background story is totally predictable and uninspired. But then, that's just my opinion.

I have nothing against used-game or console sales. But I do think companies doing this business are mostly shady and ripping people off in a great deal.
