Tell us again that nobody knew.

It was an “open secret” that Weinstein was a serial abuser and wasn’t even coy about it. Of course she knew. She’s the white Camille Cosby. But I’m sure she married Jabba the Hutt for love...

The lawsuit was filed in 2006. He lost his teaching license in 2008.

There’s a difference between using that as an excuse and realizing you were in a bad place with drinking and drugs and doing fucked up shit you wouldn’t do sober, then getting sober and not doing those things anymore and apologizing. However its hard to tell the level of sincerity/remorse for an outsider and also hard

Omg that last one is exactly how I feel on bloated days!

A 6?

That’s what I think will make Maisel interesting. It is set in the 40's, with music, dialog, etc set there (so not a Baz Luhrmann type thing). So, ASP won’t be able to rely on the pop culture references she’s known for.

Hurrah! I watched the pilot when the competition was underway, and I have to say it is charming and sharp and incredibly funny. I’m so excited for this to come out!

I HATE Josh Chan (though he is an excellent depiction of every basic-ass nice-but-also-terrible dude from not-quite Los Angeles.)

I believe you.

Scarsdale is in Westchester County.

I really like this show. Mostly because of Heather, Greg, and Darryl, though. So sick of Josh Chan. Never got the appeal.

Similar to Weinstein, isn’t Dan Schneider, who produces a lot of Nickelodeon shows, being a child molester an “open secret” that everyone will some day declare they’d never heard about before?

This is seriously the most enjoyable show to watch. I think having this show plus the new season of the Good Place will keep me from wallowing in a pit of depression for the next couple months.

Ugh I miss Greg so much. “It was a Sh*tshow” made me laugh/sob because it so perfectly described a former relationship.

I hate that they had to send Greg off to business school because it feels like all of the build up from the first season took a hard left turn.

JD Salinger - Catcher in the Rye

Remember the good old days of about a year ago when you could turn on the news in the morning without having to take a deep breath and thinking “Well, what the fuck did numbnuts do while I was asleep?” before hitting the power button on the remote?

I know it seems crazy but I have a couple of “first-degrees-of-separation” with Tom Hanks and he really is every bit as kind as he seems. Truly.

Tom Hanks had only been in Bosom Buddies by 1982 (if the first rape took place when Haim was 11). He wasn’t a megawatt star yet. Plus, I know from first-hand accounts of people who have worked with him that he’s every bit as nice as he seems. No worries there.
