That’s not how it works... You need a majority of the electoral college. Otherwise, it goes to the house, votes apportioned one per state, determined by state’s delegation. Pretty much ZERO chance a dem gets through that scenario.

It doesn’t, though. No electoral college winner throws things to the house, with one vote per state, decided by delegation, among the top three electoral vote getters. The small red states outnumber the big blue ones. The only VERY slim path for the dems has one dem, GOP top vote-getter, and trump in that final 3,…
All of the stars. Couldn't agree more.
My dad spent 27 years as a volunteer firefighter and saved dozens of lives. You can make fun of someone who is a celeb and steps up or someone who routinely risks their lives. It makes no difference. He took a huge risk and saved someone. No firefighter I know is slagging him. Congrats to all of you who feel the need…
Or they like something you don’t and don’t deserve to be called crazy for it? *shruggy shoulders*
Or people actually like something you/others deem uncool and actually don’t care what you/ others think. Adulthood is such a relief.
I'm all in favor of him making decisions for a whole country. If that country were Texas, separate of the rest of us. PLEASE secede, Texas. Pretty please???
Peeta is THE WORST. He’s worse in the movies than in the books, but he’s so the worst. He should have died 10 times over. He is TERRIBLE at the hunger games. And he’s a whiny, weak pain in the ass.
Yet they’re So. Damned. Addictive.
The daylight issue still bugs me, though. Just film in the evenings!
Mind would be BLOWN! So would it be just one of them or all of them who end up giving up their dreams to follow a guy? Or do you think it would be more in the “Santa is real and manipulating your life” line?
I think the epilogue does undermine that, though. I think it's a truer feeling story if katniss ends up alone.
For that reason, I HATED the epilogue. It isn't supposed to have a tidy ending, and it sure shouldn't have had the one it did. She's broken. They're all broken. That's what the war did.
Right now, the Candace Cameron is a doctor who moves to Alaska one is on again. And I keep yelling at the tv: “how is there so much daylight in Alaska the week before Xmas!!?!” It's driving me crazy. But I can't stop watching these movies.
Alicia Witt is definitely challenging for that title, though...
I share a name with a C-list celeb, and let me tell you... It's weird seeing your name in bold in Dirt Bag. Also, the joke Facebook posts from well-meaning friends get a little tiresome. But it could be worse. I know not one, but TWO Chris Browns.
Being a Chicagoan, the concepts of “parking” and “open bar” are just terrifying to me. Even if you uber / cab there and home, aren’t half the people leaving and sharing your road likely in no shape to be driving?
Ben Carson is a doctor and doesn't seem to understand that women are capable of making decisions about their own bodies, so I wouldn't assume she understands the first amendment.
This would be a godsend. I can't touch caffeine (migraine trigger), and even decaf has too much caffeine for my poor blood vessels. But I REALLY miss coffee.
And I will tell you there are INFINITE emotional benefits to knowing that the person you are with is with you because they WANT to be with you and not just because divorce is too much of a pain in the ass.
