Hopefully they put in some thought into this and made a features that disables any trophy support for games if you used the game genie. Meaning if you have a saved file and don't want to mess it up, you better make a new game for it.

Halo had it coming for a while since the original idea for the game when it was being done on Mac was suppose to be an RTS game.

It was bound to happen. Remember in Halo 3 when they said "Finish the fight" and had the ending close to a conclusion? Sure Halo Reach came out, but that was a prequel which in my opinion was pretty good. Then later they announced Halo 4 as a new "franchise" and even people had mixed reactions.

I doubt they can come back to their glory days. All the main people who came up with their good games left Rare, some of them even work at Retro Studios.
