A really long display name that indicates I like cars.

I get it. A lot of the writers on here are too young to remember when cars like this were new. I am. Bottom line? These were great big pieces of shit. Especially this era when GM somehow managed to make a engine coolant that would rot the entire coolant system out. These were made during a sad era of American

All of this. The dealers make it extra hard to follow through. Not “inconvenient” but downright hard.

What about the responsibility of the OEM or the dealer in having recall parts available? I own a Pacifica Hybrid which had a fire recall this year - the hybrid battery electronics architecture was responsible for ~12 fires in the northern US and Canada. We were told earlier this year to stop driving it, park it

That Paycheck Protection Program cash isn't going to spend itself.

Ain’t just Lamborghini, I managed to double my motorcycles sales these last three months through the virus. And I assure you, the vast majority of my clients weren’t rich. It’s more owing to the fact that people who wanted to buy earlier this year couldn’t, so there was a lot of pent up demand. Things will eventually

He needed some clarification: The fastest car in the world is a rental driven by an F1 driver.

“... Your Car”.

And while that’s impressive, the most impressive trick an F1 driver can do is dial the mechanical sympathy way up and cause way less tire & brake wear than a punter like you and I, yet only lose a fraction of their lap time... and obviously still be so much faster than us even though we think we are on the limit.

If you’re not actually a good driver, your premiums could go up instead of down.

Selling to a private party with a known issue is dishonest and immoral.

I sold my last car to Carvana and the process was easy.  They offered significantly more than Carmax and they came to my house, handed me a check and drove off with my car.  Took a total of about 10 minutes.

They’re actually pretty good with their offers on used stuff, too. I’ll take less money on the sale if it means not dealing with Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace nut jobs.

I would say the more likely explanation is that the owners are using the profits along with the investment money to expand their reach and build more “vending machines”. An investment firm that is able to provide many millions to billions of dollars in capital would audit everything through a fine tooth comb to ensure

Caravana and Carmax are growing for one reason. Used car dealers suck. They are dishonest, high pressure, pains in the ass to deal with and everyone is sick of it. I know I can probably get the car cheaper somewhere else, but I don’t care. I want to go buy the car and not feel like I need to take a bath in Clorox

LOL... Bad drunken take on my part.

Top Gear is fun. So is this. They aren’t the same thing, this is more a travel show that happens to be on bikes. Why so down on it?

Two electric bikes, two electric pickups, and they built brand new charging infrastructure along the route. No, nothing of this scale has been done before.

You can url-hack the slide number to get to the end faster, which is what I did so that I could comment fuck slideshows.

I went through the effort to flick through 53 pages just to get to the comments to say never fucking again. Not only will i never give the pageclick to this kind of list format again, i will also not read one article i otherwise would have clicked on. Next, i’m un-whitelisting you guys.

I will entertain arguments in favour of any Janes game, and maybe Chuck Yeager.
