if BMW M3 E30's price can hit 250k USD, can you guys imagine how high Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 gonna be when 2025 arrived ?

I think it will hit north of 500k USD even for non Nur version

it’s RB26DETT R2, not RB28DETT Z2

originally BMW M3 beater that over-engineered to become Ferrari and Lamborghini Slayer yet will not leave you stranded, very cheap to maintain and keep rising in value just like proper investment

Not even F360 and Gallardo prefacelift of the same year come close to resale value of standart Skyline GT-R R34 (and we’re

I really wish Mitsubishi made Lancer Evolution Coupe just like how Subaru make Imprezza WRX STi Coupe

it will be very cheap but fun alternative to Skyline GT-R R34

first, they offered Lexus V10 which cost more than brand new F12 Berlinetta and mid-engine Aventador. But that’s ok since they’re limited to 500 units unlike common F12 so at least you can brag “my LFA is much more rarer than your plebeian F12" factor

then they released 86 which underpowered yet overpriced and spanked

seriously, since the demise of Skyline R34 which is the true 3-series slayer, I never see any single japanese RWD sedan / coupe capable enough to take 3-series head-on

this is dissapointing so much, what prevent them to make another class-leader such Skyline R34 in the last 15 years ?

really ? do you even need to ask ?

RB26DETT
RB26DETT N1
RB28DETT Z2

Most Majority at USA never like Van anyway so why bother ? It’s a SUV country

if you want to see market for Van then go to Asian market, you can see Toyota Alphard, Nissan Elgrand, Lexus LM and Honda Elysion (also small part of it are VW Caravelle and Benz V-class)

for family hauler in the downtown, I rather own Toyota

I know only time will tell but somehow I doubt it especially BMW

There’re very good and strong reasons why Supra A80, NSX NA2, Skyline GT-R R34, and so many more japanese cars of the same era slowly but surely become appreciating assets

I see it as a new normal thing ? In fact I’m more surprised by some people that didn’t see that coming ?

5 years ago we already see what happened with the price of Supra RZ A80, Skyline GT-R R34 and NSX NA2. So it’s bound to happened to some Japanese sportcar and coupe of the similar era sooner or later

By the time 2025

Why the hell you need 86 with just 200 - 205hp if you can get 4-cylinder Supra with 255hp which is basically modern day Silvia Spec-R ?

ah I forgot ............... reliability

I do want both Altezza (IS / RC) and Skyline (Q50 / Q60) succeed in competing against 3er / 4er, C / CLC and A4 / A5 and to be honest, other than the price tag, they’re not that bad compare to german counterpart

But somehow they lack something specials that their predecessor have, especially Skyline R34. Perhaps if

I should have bought Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 when I have a chance

Put Fast and Furious, Easy to upgrade, Better looking than most exotic even up till now, Very good investment since always keep appreciating every year” aside

It’s stout and reliable, will never leave you stranded and will never broke your wallet if you

ok we won’t talk reliability here since it’s toy car, but from what I see, the hype is real and going strong in 2025

top of the line, Skyline R34 Z-Tune trim was 200,000 brand new at 2005 (around the same with Aventador SVJ) but now it probably worth 1 million, I doubt Aventador SVJ can still worth the same of its

no matter how much attention you got from Aventador, it won’t even as close as much as attention you gonna get from Skyline GT-R R34

It also will keep appreciating every year while Aventador will depreciating like a rock, not to mention it’s cheaper to maintain and definitely more reliable

Last time I check, it’s not April Mob

kinda surprised if Mazda really do it, finally they gonna make a proper Skyline competitor, though I doubt they can best Skyline R34, because not even any generation of 3-series, C-class and A4 combined can do that

most majority will not care because :
1. It’s not R34
2. It’s not GT-R trim
3. It’s not coupe
4. It’s not in Bayside Blue

Probably hard to do, but how about hoard cars that you can daily, reliable yet still appreciating, for example like Skyline GT-R R34

Sure it’s expensive for used one even at 2007, costing around 50k USD but you would have daily it for years without leaving you stranded, yet you lose nothing and even get some profit

you know what’s reliable, can be used daily, attract all attention, and can beat both Ferrari, Lamborghini and other manufacturer yet keep rising in price every year hence it’s appreciating asset despite you drive it daily like a Corolla and Civic and will never leave you stranded ?

Nissan Skyline GT-R R34

Bring back Skyline to compete with 3-series, c-class and A4, what’s so hard about that ? Even Lexus can do it with Lexus IS / RC

And no, Skyline V35, V36 and V37 is not counted since those are half-assed product without any real aim

Had they serious about making R35 (BNR35 not DBAR35) after the success of R34 then both
