The more I remembered PreFacelift CBA-R35 cost for $70,000 MSRP, the more I kinda respect Corvette C8

This is how I feel about every overhype nostalgia cars, from Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari F40, McLaren F1 LT, Honda NSX 3.2 Type R, Toyota Supra RZ VVT-i, and last but not least Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II Nur

Yes Yes, I know they’re the best of the best at their own era, you don’t need to tell me that.

It’s just

This my friend, is my answer to you

Nissan really missed their games especially after 2010

They should have made R35 as true successor of R34 and established it as Japanese 3-series but slightly better and slightly cheaper at the same time (should be easier due to R34's success). Then make DBA-GTR as their main Halo Sportcar (of course not using R35

Say that to Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 especially if you compare it objectively to current modern 2-Door Sedan Coupe such as M4, C63, RS5 or even Nissan’s own Skyline V37 (Q50). I mean do you ever really sit inside Skyline GT-R R34, let alone cheaper trim such as GT-T or even GT ?

You can say it’s not because of fast

I know a way for Nissan to get a quick cash real fast

Remake Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and sell each of em for $100,000 USD each, $25,000 option for V-Spec II Nur and another additional $25,000 for M-Spec Nur since most millenial prefer maximum creature comfort for a car. Z-tune also available for purchase for $500,000

If we’re talking about it in USA then I can only think 1

So Rob ......... I dunno why but somehow I feel like the current owner want to sell his GT-R to buy a Brand New Mid-engine N/A V8 RWD Sportcar with bumper-to-bumper warranty as bonus at exactly price tag of $59,995

I agree with you

Most R34 obnoxious fans keep saying fast furious BS that it can be tuned to be faster and still cheaper than your Ferrari

I say, try to do that with current Skyline GT-R R34's price right now, let see which one is more expensive right now especially if you can get used Gallardo LP-560 and twin-turbo kit

GT-R yes but that is different creature since now it is its own model

I’m talking bout Skyline GT-R R34 which was hype was already as high to the moon but best I think it is just a japanese BMW M3 coupe / M4 but with xDrive AWD (or 440i xDrive), I mean Skyline is just japanese 3-series after all

Gonna be cursed, flamed and shit-talked for this but Nissan Skyline GT-R R34

Honestly speaking, even if you remove 1 from that price and put $98,563 tag on it, I still think it as huge crack pipe

I literally checked my calendar whether it is 1st April or not !!

Put this in perspective, 10 years ago Nissan launched GT-R (Not Skyline but bespoke dedicated platform sportcar GT-R) and priced the base model at 70,000 USD. It hailed as Giant slayer because it has 75%-90% performance of 458, 911 Turbo S and Gallardo

They should have done this from long time ago and make it better rather than let it rot in Infiniti

Skyline had potential to become 3-series beater right at R34 generation (not only because of its potential but also world-wide fame), something that can’t be done by Lexus IS (Toyota Altezza) up till now. Unfortunately,

Should have put Toyota Celica TRD Sports M (T230)

but again with extra 10 Hp bump, it still no match to Integra Type R (DC5)

“One of the things I hate most about car culture, is there is a majority that think the best cars have already been built and that everything from their favorite period on is trash.”

You mean those Fast and Furious Skyline R34 and Supra A80 die-hard obnoxious fans that keep saying it will smoke Bugatti Chiron by tuning

Nissan Skyline R34 in All trim (GT, GT-T, GT-Four, GT-R, GT-R V-Spec Nur, GT-R M-Spec Nur, Z-Tune) and All bodystyle (Sedan, Coupe, Wagon)

the day it will become legal in USA, the day those fans of fast and furious gonna lost their shit

Under $7,500, reliable, easy to fix yet still fun ?

How about 200 Hp Toyota Celica TRD Sports M ?? Though I dunno if it’s easy to find at there

I dunno, perhaps only me but that’s crack pipe for me

At that price, I was expecting to get unmolested stock clean 200 Hp Toyota Celica TRD Sports M in either Black or Blue color but again, it’s just me

And this makes me wonder what will be the price of very minty Toyota Supra A80 Manual VVT-i (2000 and newer) in next 5 years, perhaps north of 250,000 USD ?
